The aim of the government is good but I think that this the Reproductive Health Bill is really not the solution to minimize the population in our country. The contraceptives that are introduced were not given full attention to introduce to the public especially to the rural areas that the Health workers can't reach. Can this really be the solution or just a propaganda?

For me, it is the solution. Its just they don't take a risk because filipino people is not open to that kind of thing and another is, the Catholic church always meddling the government. How did they know that it is not the solution? They didn't even studied BS Sociology -- duh? I have studied one particular lesson on one of my course in Philippine Sociology that there are different factors of how to lessen the population and I don't want to mention it all because I didn't memorize it all. They just jump to conclusion that it would not work out. In fact, they didn't even try it. Another is, R.H. Bill gives women equal rights and gender equality, but sad to say, the Catholic church disagree R.H. Bill -- well, what I read on one of the blogs, some members of Department of Women... or whatever you called it said that the Catholic church killed women because women here in the Philippines are the one who suffered too much. Well, I don't understand Filipino culture at all. I think, we still live on theocratic government because it seems the Catholic church is ruling our state and dictating of what is good and evil for the Filipino people instead of our own government. Philippines is hopeless! How I wish, government would implement the laws of R.H. Bill without listening to the CBCP -- CBCP which the popes and bishops always meddling the government because its really hopeless.

Yeah, I agree but partly I pity the women who used it because me also have patronized now the contraceptives that the Government is offering. I've already tried all of them except for tubal ligation. I end up with 3 kids because all of them gave a side effect and I can't bear it. Now I'm using the IUD but I always have spotting and abdominal cramps. Hope the Government will improved the other ways or products of contraceptives..

It is a concrete solution for me. I just hope that Filipinos can be open-minded about it and its implementation be successful in reaching the rural areas.
