Religion creates departion not unity ur views?

The more details you provide, the more likely you are to receive responses to your discussion.As certainly i dont like religions i believe religions plays major role to change human unity. If there is only one religion then im happy to see all peoples in a single line now im worried to see people fighting by standing in different lines. I want to ask one question plz answer me. In my house my parents argued that they wil give coins if the peoples comes by wearing muslim dress(caps,etc)not for others. Then in one temple i saw peoples give coins to peoples sitting outside but there one old muslim man sitting . No body worried about him and the peoples not ready to help him. Why they decided to help their own society peoples?

Religion creates unity at the tribal level but not in a society. All of the major religions originated in people who lived in tribes and one of religions major functions was to create cooperation within the individual tribes. Sadly, while society has evolved beyond the tribal level religion has not.

Its a good arguement that atheist peoples are avoided by believer peoples. Even i see more good helping minds only in atheist peoples who dont believe the god. If we dont ready to help others then whats the use of believing god.

Sorry but I don't agree with you. God made only 1 religion which is church of god written in 2 corinthians 1:1. He made his religion to unite all of us. The only reason why we are divided because there religious leaders have different beliefs on the bible. Theoretically speaking if only Jesus alive today I guess we are belong in one religion only.

I beg to disagree. God did that make a religion, He instead offered us the gift of salvation through faith in Christ. The one thing that separates Christian beliefs from other beliefs is that, Christians believes they are sinners in need of salvation for the penalty of their sins. Actually, for me, religion comes after you already accepted the gift of God. Religion is more like how you live your life, how you show thanks to God for giving you salvation. The church of God discussed in 2 Corinthians, for me, means a congregation of people with one common belief, which I have already stated earlier.

Religion is a congregation according to the bible and your definition of religion is wrong because you only believe in yourself thus your belief should not called a religion it's called philosophy ^_^

Perhaps the real problem goes much deeper than religion. Mankind's greatest problem is that everybody wants to rule the world. Religion brings this attempt at controlling others to the surface because if one thinks they have God's blessing, one can justify anything. There is a good side to all this . Religion brings these problems to the surface so they can be dealt with. There will always be drama until all the lessons are learned. God gave everyone a different view to guaranty mankind a larger view than any one person could have. The true picture can never be seen until everyone is free to express that which is special about themselves. Still, religions, societies, countries, and even commercialism tries to convince everyone we should all be the same. Indeed, many have lots of lessons to learn before they really Understand.

Its true that some religious leaders wants to rule the people so they wanted to believe their peoples what they say. But simply its a concept of making themselves as a god or almighty but not giving importance to real god.

Religion is not bad if there is an understanding and respect for one's believes. I say this because if there is respect, then there will be no one to be considered superior hence creating mutual relationship. We all come from different back grounds, and my believe can be odd to you and yours too can annoy me in some ways. But if we all forget about it and look at the positive side of this, we will notice the impact the religion has played to make a person he/she is in the society.
What make religion look more a divider more than a uniting body is the way people are taught, to despise other religions and to believe they are more better off than others.

Even god loves the people who treats other people equally but the people who make the religions want to diversify people by making arguements that they are best in life. They dont like as they compared to be squal with other peoples.

No i dont accept that religions teaches unity but man dont follow it. Man follows all the rules even they are ready to die for their religion . But they are helping for only their society peoples. Ur mom feed u but why should ur mom feed neighbour boy. Need a good reply here plz

I am not completely agree with this top because everybody knows Religion put people together in a spirit of togetherness and unity. Religion teaches how to behave correctly according to the Word Of God(WOG). Real Religious people who constantly read the Bible or Coran do not disturbe the others by respect of the culture.
Only those who dont know the real meaning of Religion do it just to create the division.
I am Christian,and I have some friends of different religions, denomination. We are together. We read my Bible and they brought their coran for those who are Muslins. We are in peace.
So I am not entierely agree about that.

I dont agree with this because i heard some holy books that written that their religions should not be compared as equal to others even they dont had rights to compromise with other religions generally in islam. . But its not true that religions teach to treat people equally.
