I want to enjoy my life. Im doing fun things and all that makes me happy, but there's something that I think missing. I'm always dissatisfied. Everytime I'm doing something, I always thought of "Am I really happy?". Gosh.! I don't know how to explain. I always thought of a missing piece. I wish you could help me what that is, and why Im always dissatisfied with all I have.

How is your spiritual dimension? Is God in your life? Do you read the Bible every day? Do you know God's name? Do you speak with your heavenly Father often each day? Do you meet with God's people in worship? Are you doing God's will? It is from these things that happiness comes from!

We all miss something that makes us happy in our life that am sure of, still we hope to get it, to fill that gap of happiness to complete it, only you can find what that is, perhaps you already know what you are missing the thing that haunts your life, or maybe its just your thought that you are missing something but not missing it for real, anyway be content with what you get sooner or later you'll get it.

Well, just be content with what you have, stop from craving or wishing you have all the things you need because you would only be dissapointed. Do not be a perfectionist too. Look at the reality of what you can do and not those that you cannot do. Pushing too hard on your self would affect your personality.

I think it happens to all of us to feel dissatisfied even after we have some achievements which bring us a joy which is unfortunately short-lived;I guess it's in our nature to feel unhappy and always crave for more, and we finally achieve to obtain that thing we're still not satisfied and want someone else.I don't know what can be done to stop feeling dissatisfied,it's hard to find against our nature,we just have to keep on fighting to reach new goals and maybe one day the feeling of happiness will finally remain with us for a longer time.

I believe its just life. If i get what I want it is not enough. If I can;t have it. I want it. I am a single woman, with not children, and my life is very unsteady right now. I am happy at times because I am attending college. This is something no one in my family has accomplished. I have learned that there are times I am Happy and times that I am sad because I let all the bad things get to me like, taking care of my father, my dad dying, now taking care of my mom, all the rumors about me, even after staying with my mom and helping out. I think it is just my way of venting when I get tired of taking crap from others. I am very content and able to cope with all the bad stuff and I am very happy in reality but even I do get down. The best thing I do when I am feeling this way, is clean clean clean, or keep busy. Tends to help. I have also found different hobbies such as fishing and writing are very useful too. Anytime I feel bad I write it in a poem and I can always look back and sometimes even smile.

Whenever dissatisfied, look around and you will know that you are better than lots of people around. God has given you eyes but for some there is no light in this world as they are blind. Actually what I want to say that we all are blessed with so many things but we fail to acknowledge and keep asking for more and more.Happiness resides inside a persons mind and we keep looking around. Try to find out which activity gives you happiness, may be that is your mission in life. Once your mission in life is in front of your life then only that missing piece is discovered. Best of luck.

Maybe a companion? I don't really know. Well, you can just try to enjoy the moment and not ponder on what you think is missing. I think we all go through that when you feel like everything is almost perfect, almost.

Does anyone in your family have the same issue? Since when did you start to notice this 'problem'? Could there be some kind of trigger? For instance, could you recall any specific event in your past that could be a possible trigger?

I think It is just normal. Just put on your mind that you are happy in what you are doing. Just be positive.

Many people are dissatisfied with what he/she has now, once he/she loses it, he/she realizes what the importance of the things he/she once owned. Look around, you will see many unfortunate people, give them help if you can, maybe you will find the happyness just around you.

Hey gidz, whats up? oh, I know, you are unsatisfied.hee just kidding:) Ok, let's come to the point. Enjoying your life to it's maximum is not that simple as we all think it is. Life is a small journey, where joy, sorrow, happiness, excitement, tension, stress, emotions all are mixed together. So, you can't enjoy your life properly, without experiencing each of them in every stages of your life. In short, add some adventure, competition or any extra ingredient in life life except fun and joy to make your life some what spicy. Spicy foods taste better than pale ones, isn't it? Hope I was helpful And may you get success in enjoying your life

I have spent many days feeling the same way you are describing here. It felt to me like a sadness that I could not explain. Then I realized I needed to wake up and look around me and give thanks for the many blessings that I did have in my life. I know many individuals from third world counties and I live in USA. I thought about how many people die yearly trying to make it into this country to make a better life for themselves and their families. I then think about how I have my health, I am able to see and hear when many people wish they could see what I see or hear what I hear. I think about how all my limbs work and I was not born with a deformity, nor were my wonderful children. I also think and have become closer to God through my life journey and ask for strength to get through trials in my life that make me feel down and depressed. Give thanks to God, or your higher power and do a lot of praying and I promise you will feel better about your situation. Happiness comes from within ourselves, so no matter what it is you may be doing to try to make yourself happy, you must first look within yourself.
