I think you are an ectomorph because you are naturally thin. If you want to gain weight you must go the gym and lift weights and you must eat more. This way you will build muscle on your body. More muscle means more weight. Try to measure your weight every month to check on your progress. Remember, lift weights and eat more.

If you can afford to buy equipment then its fine. Buy a book about natural bodybuilding also. don't be tempted to use steroids. About your appetite, I think you should consult someone with medical knowledge because there may be underlying problems with your appetite. But I think after you have an intense workout you should be hungry as a bear.

hey evanfred0219! You just got a very big problem, do you?? HAHAHA! Yeah, I agree with some of the responses, you may be so skinny at this earlier stage of your life, but I think, when you get married, have your own family, then you'll start gaining weight.. I've known a few who were so skinny also during their earlier years but when they get married, fats just came out that they find it hard to gain back their old weight.. so enjoy while it's still that... just eat and be healthy... :))))

LOL. yeah, but i gues im contented with my weight now because someone shared that she was envious of my size. so it's better to be this way than the other way around as long as im healthy all the way.LOL.

Yepyep... that is what is more important.. As long as you are healthy despite your being skinny, that shouldn't be a problem.. don't be too excited, you'll get that desired weight when you get married and have kids! LOL

hello. you did not tell us your height, perhaps your weight is just proportion to your height. Also their are races like Asians that by nature do not really need to put on weight especially when your in the tropical region, we don't need extra fat because there's no winter, like the other post, i think what is important is you are healthy and not sickly

I think its the right proportion, 5'1", 90lbs and just 22 years old, but don't take my word for it, consult your doctor, they have growth charts. You can also look it up in the internet, I think all the information is there.

are you unhealthy? it doesn't sound like it because it comes naturally to you, most people would kill to have that metabolism you have lol. Some people are chubby and have to work out like crazy and eat extremely well to be close to an average weight of this society. you should maybe meet up with a nutritionist, it sounds like that would be a good thing for you. I'm sure they can tell you what to do to put on some weight in a healthy manner and just how to eat better.

There are a lot of people who are like that. In fact, I know a lot of people who are very fond of eating and has a huge appetite but doesn't gain weight at all. I think it has something to do with the body's metabolism. Some people easily gain weight because their body's metabolism is quite slow but for some, no matter how much food they eat, they will never gain weight. I guess what you need to do is to eat more. I have also heard of herbalife. I heard that they have some products that will make you gain more weight.

Yeah! You try it. I don't know if it's really true but I have heard of some people gaining weight when they tried some of its products.

yeah, i doubt that's one of the reasons why i won't gain weight. i think i have a fast metabolism because as of my experience, when i eat or drink after 30min i'll urinate. you're the second person who recommended hebarlife, i'll try to know more about their products and hopefully find what takes effect and help me in gaining weight.

It was also my problem when i was still 20 years and below. However, after that i added some poundage, until i got married and gave birth. Thus, i still added weight but until now, i am on the medium built size and that's what i am maintaining now. I think it would be better to consult a doctor about it, since after a while of taking those supplements you feel nauseated when you eat a full meal. That alone shows some inner problem.

Eat! LOL. Enjoy your metabolism. :)) I use to weigh that much when I was in my 20s too. But when you get to 30s it's never the same. I used to eat all the time when I was younger and not gain weight. Now, even if I diet, I can't go back to 90lbs.
