When should I stop using Proactiv?

Hi everyone! So I've been using Proactiv for more than a month now and it's really working for me. I bought their two month kit so I'm all set for the other month. I was just wondering if I could stop using it after two months. If you tried it already, what happened when you stopped using it. I read from other sites that people tend to breakout again and some were able to maintain it. So can you really stop using it? Or am I stuck to it forever? I hope not since I think my face would dry up if I overuse it. So what do you guys think? Thanks and have a great day.

I can only imagine that you would have to keep it up. Whatever was causing your skin problems are probably still there, so when you stop using the proactive, you probably will revert back to the way you were. It may take some time, but I can only imagine that it is a temporary fix. It doesn't fix the problem.

I think if you just completely stop using it your face might break out again. If you're worried about drying up your skin, try using a moisturizer. I used to use Proactiv and it seemed to work for a while but then it was like my skin just got immune to it. Now, at night I'll put on the last step of Proactiv just to help with pimples and in the morning I'll use a facewash and then put on moisturizer. Your skin is something that always needs attention, so you might have to use Proactiv or some sort of acne thing for a while to maintain clear skin.
