Would anyone be able to tell me if there ia any relationship between the Kraft Group headed by Robert Kraft and the Kraft Foods headed by Irene Rosenfeld. Are these two different business groups with a similar name? One thing that I know is that both Robert Kraft and Irene Rosendeld are Jewish. The Kraft foods has just started business in India and I'd like to know more about them.

cristobert, Though both companies may have the same name "Kraft", I believe both business entities Kraft Group (CEO Robert Kraft) and Kraft Foods (CEO Irene Rosenfeld) are not only different, they are unrelated as well. Kraft Group which is privately owned deals with Professional Sports, Manufacturing, Real-estate development, Private equity investments. Whereas, Kraft Foods which is a public listed food processing conglomerate which has its origins as a firm setup on a Rollup strategy, form up of fragmented ice cream companies in the US. Since then, Kraft Foods grown from being the largest dairy product company. Presently, the company's core businesses revolves around beverage, cheese, dairy foods, snack foods, confectionery, and convenience foods. Kraft has its own major brands, which each generate revenues exceeding $1 billion, such as: Cadbury, Jacobs, Kraft, Kraft Dinner, Kraft Singles, Kraft Mayo, Maxwell House, Milka, Nabisco, Oreo, Oscar Mayer, Philadelphia, Trident, Tang - just to name a few here. Also, there are 70 additional brands which have revenues greater than U$100 million, with a total of 40 brands are at least 100 years old. I am sure if you'd searched through the company registries, you would also be able to find them non related. Ref: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Kraft_Group http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kraft_Foods
