This wife got in an argument with her husband. She began striking him, and then the argument deteriorated. She began pelting him with cupcakes! He called the cops on her. She has been released on $10,000 bond. Just how much damage can a battery of cupcakes do? I think she needs to be hospitalized and checked out for emotional illness, not arrested for assault. What a crazy article. http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/headlines/2011/10/cupcake-attack-wife-charged-with-domestic-battery/

Haha hmm who knows, maybe she had put in some bombs in there before she threw it at him haha. Wow. I think it is a dumb reason to pay $10,000 just for throwing cupcakes at him. Maybe they got all wrong though, she probably wanted to play catch with her husband to get over her anger. No but seriously....I still can't believe she was charged $10,000. What is her husband made out of that can easily get hurt with cupcakes....Man judges, police people come on dudes...

That's hilarious. Assault with a dealy cupcake! I couldn't help but laugh when I got to the part about when police arrived they found the husband with icing on his head and clothes. Yes, she tried to ice him! I bet the judge will have some fun with this one when it comes before him in court.

I knew someone who made muffins hard enough to bounce, so, unless her cupcakes could be considered deadly weapons like this lady's muffins, I think pelting by cupcakes is strange, maybe kinky, but hardly worth calling the cops over - unless he had been planning to eat said cupcakes before he was pelted with them!

such a g_y action of the husband..I think being attacked by a cupcake is not so painful and shy he did report her?maybe he did something real bad thats why she attacked him..pity on him.. but i wonder what the guy did for the wife to do such thing,,i hope in the end they can fix it..but this story is real funny and i will not do such thing cup cakes are sweet and yummy..

What a crap! I don't think any policeman or judge over here would take you as a man serious if you tell them your wife throws cupcakes at you. They would tell that guy he is wasting their time and they will make him pay for letting them come over for nothing. Also I would not know any reason why that woman has to be hospitalized for that. There are plenty men and women who throw with stuff at eachother if they are angry and who are completely sane.

Hmmm...I've been married 41 years and my husband and I have never thrown cupcakes or anything else at each other. Perhaps I should have said she needed help with anger issues.

That is kind of funny. I can't believe he called the cops on her. I think that was just petty on his part because it's not like she was really hurting him. She could have been throwing a lot worse than cupcakes. I feel bad for their families, how embarrassing.

OMG what a waste of cupcakes, and how petty of the cops! Maybe she should have had a warning, as laughable though her weapon is, it was still an act of violence, but it's not as if she threw a bag of rattlesnakes at him or attacked him with a Kalashnikov rifle! Suppose difficult to know if she was truly provoked or not, but it is a bit crazy when the closest thing you can reach for is cupcakes!

This is one of the funniest news of attack that I've read so far Not bad,at least it's a sweet attack with icing and soft cupcakes. I wonder if those cupcakes were soft or hard ones like Lucy Liu baked in "Charles Angels" Have a good day

Hi! I am sorry but I find the article funny. =D Anyway, I do not know what pushed the wife to throw cupcakes to her husband. Maybe it was just a coincidence that the cupcakes are the ones which are nearest to the wife when the incident happen. Sometimes when we are angry, we do things as outlets for our anger. I for one releases my anger by throwing things. It somehow relieves me from my emotion. As for that wife, maybe it is best for the husband to strip the area of sharp things where the quarrel may occur before he upsets his wife. =D

HI! I feel sad for the wasted cupcakes and fro the damage done to the husband. The wife should have anger management rehabilitation.

Domestic comedies are humorous but this has topped table standings. Well, she won't attack her husband again after a lesson well learned- $10k is just a lot compared with a few cupcakes she assaulted her husband with.

Cupcakes is for her to feed her husband and children, not use as weapon in an all out full scale attack in the household dispute. She will be charged with endangerment to her children father and attempted murder. Case is pending for review in the U.S district 2nd circuit court.

This is funny. They are husband and wife right? So why did the wife had to pay for the ridiculous fine alone not to mention with the ridiculous accusation? Well, I guess in this case, you call the cops and the event will turn out worse.
