impeachment will be filed against president Aquino for allegedly betrayal of public trust. this is based upon the serious accusation against the controversial transfer of funds amounting to 5 million pesos in the account of the MILF who were accuse lately of killing 19 soldiers under mission in some place in Mindanao. the said impeachment is based upon the the violation of the mandate of the constitution regarding this issue. complain about this issue surmounts as they question this government initiative. this move really get hold of the moral of the arm forces of the philippines as they still mourn from their comrades who were killed by this rebel group. personally i have to say that this gesture will do no good for Pnoy as timing is not appropriate and this will surely put him in troubled water in coming days. but sure enough this will not be a big deal, it just made him some kind of negative effects and i will not say that he's a jerk as others do. is he?

lmpeachment again? I bet this will just roll off the news in the days to come. The problem on the MILF and other breakaway and terrorist groups did not just happen overnight nor these fund funelling issue has yet to be proven. People nowadays have already learned that impeachment does not guaranty solutions to the many problem of the Philippines instead we should be vigilant to stand against fake politicking and greedy politicians to lure us again to the bait.

yes its impeachment again, and its going to roll off the news as you have said. its already proven that's why malacanang is making its excuse over the issue and passed the blamed to the passed administration, but that won't make the president off the hook over this issue.

I think this is a way to divert people's attention to the quest of the people to get those people who really have misused the public funds. If P'Noy will be in hot water, I guess it is a small deal compare to the issues of corruptions of the previous government.

I'm not sure about the general public sentiment on the issue, but I think impeachment would be the last thing our country needs right now. True PNoy hasn't performed up to expectations and this controversy adds up to that particular bandwagon, but I don't think it's a "solution" that we could really take.

what we need right now is a strong and effective leadership that knew to make critical decisions specially on this issue of the Muslim rebels. it's good to help these muslim people, there's no opposition for that, but helping the rebels who would do that, that's insane! look what happen this thing really shake the moralle of the Soldiers of the AFp and the PNP.

have not been catching the news as of late since I have not of heard of this "empeachment" thing yet. If it's true then I don't think it's going anywhere. It seems to me that there are a lot of people in this country whose world just evolve around the word impeachment. Come to think of it, people has been filing impeachment cases for any impeachable officials with whatever issue they can find but so far not one of the many cases has ever progressed to come to a conclusion. What's clear is that they're using any impeachment issue as a way to be interviewed for their point of view which is synonymous to the word "recall" come election times.

that is why there's the thing "filipino crab mentality" we're used as others say in pulling down others that is making its way to the top. and its happening, nonetheless this impeachment thing is maybe an over reaction against Pnoy for his alleged funneling of funds to the rebel group, and mind you there's another 31 million for the NPA i think..

Yes, no big deal. That's because the said ground for impeachment is vague (and the accuser is not popular lol~) I can sense that this is beyond AFP's morale. They were said to be a few unauthorized soldiers, who, for all we know, were after the monetary reward. Their credibility as soldiers of honor is muddled. It's also far from 'betraying public trust'. To think of it, 5M is negligible compared to AFP's missing 50M funds! Since that 50M 'pabaon system' scandal was revealed, public trust has leaned towards the new government (Pnoy's). It makes it easy then to say that he inherited the 5M promise to MILF. But if we listen to ANAD partylist's treason as ground, a single person (Pnoy) giving support to an enemy of the state, then it might actually be valid. However, like I said, they need more popularity to make their point a bigger deal.
