People are constantly stressed to earn money and then they spend them to buy things that they don't really need. I believe that the most important thing in our lives are for free. And I don't mean consuming products/freebies. I am talking about things that we would not be able to live without them like the air we breathe, the sun, the nature, falling in love, a kiss, a friendly hug, laughing, having children.. Things that truly makes us happy are absolutely free! There are probably many more things that we enjoy for free in life, I would be interested to read your opinion on this subject. Do you believe that having a lot of money can make you as happy as really living our life?

I agree with you my friend. And i also think that having lots of money cannot guarantee a happy life. Though, i must say, money is important to buy our needs, having lots of it can sometimes makes one bad too. And as you said, the best things in life are free, the natural wonders of this earth is free for us to explore! No need to go out of one's country and spend money to enjoy our vacations, but we can have it in our own beaches , rivers and parks!

Going for vacations and travelling around the world is a great feeling! But if you have good company you can have a wonderful time anywhere, even at your local park.. :)

I think each one of us has their own "important thing" in life that can't be judged if it costs money or not. But if you ask me I think the only thing that is not for free in this world is time. Time is not for free, you can't take it as you want, it's rationed and it passes, and life and everything in it depends on how you spend it. I'm saying this because I built my life from scratch with only my own mind to use and time to spend, and I've reached the point where everything I want and need IS for free. I spent my time building up ways to make money, building a circle of friends, keeping family close and now those just come as they are every day, as money do. I spend my time on things that cost money and on things that don't. Time is the currency not money. If you know how to spend your time, than everything will come freely as you organize it inside your life's timeline.

I had never thought it this way. You actually reminded me of a movie that I watched recently, it is called "In Time" with Justin Timberlake. The story is based on the fact that time has replaced money and instead of living with money, you live with minutes, yours and years. The movie is not so great but the main concept is really interesting. A person organises the time wisely can achieve great things in life. But personally I believe that it has the same effect with money, if you start worrying too much about it you live in stress and anxiety. In normal situations, I have noticed that a good organisation of time can bring satisfaction and energy to the individual.

People like to feel like they are getting things for free, as they know that it has saved them a lot of money.Life is not free, as we all require ood to eat and clothes to wear, etc.I feel that there are things like you say that we can get for nothing, but they are some of the things that we also have to have to survive, air is the one.

I am positive about people working and earning, it's productive and you it provides you the essentials for living. But sometimes we reach a point when all we can think of is earn more to buy that new bag or a fancy car etc. Therefore, I believe that buying an extra bag won't make you happier than falling in love for example, or enjoying the things that you have in your life. We should appreciate what we can have and try for the best without neglecting what really matters in life.

The things that are free are the sweetest. Money can not make us happy. It will however open new doors and it does enable us to do things we might not be able to do if we didn't have money. Someone on the street without a penny will have a difficult time in life but I've seen a few smile. What we need is our basics looked after. After this its gravy.

Some people are greedy and once they have what they need, they are asking for more. Happiness is found in small things and moments in life.

Have a nice day! Your question should be two situation. The first is that if you have enough money but dont care about your family,I think you will be aslo fail.Since loving is the best important than any other things.Second is that if you have little money or you want to get the happy life what is your family want to own. This situation will let you know that money is necessary for you to earn if you want to let your family happy. Finally,I think money and loving are both important for us.If you want me to choose both of them,i will choose money.Since if you have more money will let you and your family happy.

My family wants me to earn a lot of money too, that's why they invested so much on education. But they will love me whatever happens because you never know what life will bring you.

You are absolutely right. We keep ourselves under stres through out our life thinking about the role money could play and seldom realise the importance of those sweet things which are free. And by the time we realise it, it would be too late to enjoy the same.

There should always be a balance in life. With money you can buy everything but not happiness. Everyone sees that from a different angle and has his own perception of the successful and happy living.

Happiness comes in many ways and every individual has its own ways to become happy either you are rich or poor. Nevertheless, our life is a struggling survival everyday on how we can earn money to buy what we need or what we want, unless you are born in a wealthy financial family you don't need to work hard to earn money. As for me, either I have or don't have money but i felt happy. I am contented for what I have.

Sorry but I don't agree with you. The most important things in life are: food, shelter, clothes. And they are surely not for free. Sun we hardly have overhere only a lot of rain, wind, (freezing) cold, snow, etc. So some heath would be great too. And I can quarantee you it's not for free either. I am not allowed to chop my own trees, I have to pay for electricity, gas, even if made by wind, water and sun a lot.

These are the basics that every person should be able to have. Most people after satisfying their basic needs they keep consuming and getting things that they think they will make them happy. You are right because I haven't made it so clear in my post that I mean after fulfilling the need for a house and food. My grandparents used to live with a lot less and they were much happier than we are now. They had their small garden to produce their salad and fruits and they weren't that stressed about earning all the time.

For one's existence we need some essential things. Food and dress are two important essentials to exist. Money is inevitable to get these provided. Then we can think of freedom. At that point excess money may become a burden for some people. If one doesn't desire to grow and accumulate money, money can enhance the freedom of life.

You have two things here. Having all things that we get on loving our family, friends, siblings, husband. a hug, a kiss, everything that GOD given is free and that's what we enjoy. And i agree to you that the most important in life are those that's with us FREE. 2nd is that having money, well if it will give happiness money can. But the JOY of having it is when we used the money on the things we need and the people around us. but if it is just wants.. it will not last long. same with the gadgets that not last long...because there are always new things coming out..

I think that money will not satisfy every ones needs. Remember that money do not buy hapiness, smiles and other things. So we can conclude that money doesn't buy every thing in this world and also remember that a rich can turn into a poor within seconds and a poor can turn into a rich within seconds if god desire .

It is very simplest prospect that if you have no many you look for some quick money to getting rich in a single night and show your society that you are also the rich. If you look a farmer his income is very low.He think that if he collect few money this winter he will be survive for struggle in Raine season. On the other hand one people have a car but he wants to get another car because his friend got a imported car.So we should think about which is necessary and which is luxury.Happiness is different things that fully depends on mind.
