Fanfiction writer?

Here you are free to share anything about your fanfiction experience! It could be about the story you are writing, maybe about your fanfiction status and what you like writing about!
Okay, here's something about me as a fanfiction writer.
I've started writing fanfiction 2 years ago. back then, i was lousy at writing, because it was my first attempt to write stories. my stories are cross overs, silly parodies that my friend and I created together. I like writing romantic comedy stories, too! i find them more enjoyable to write than tragic love stories with angst written all over the pages. Writing down ideas was a fun experience.
one day i was invited to join a forum wherein writers can get to know other writers and improve their skills in writing, as well. there, i gained many friends.
currently, i am working on one story of mine on fanfiction. when i joined the forums, i eventually forgot about my story for 2 years. now, i am rewriting one of my stories and i pray that i will finish it this time.

I'm quite fond of fanfiction, especially Harry Potter. I didn't know it existed until I stumbled upon a site of this type of fiction. I also liked a writer named 'Jade' who wrote anime fanfiction plus Harry Potter. I don't know if she's still around, she used to have a website, and I think she's moved on to Yaoi type novels, so she's making some money. I've tried my hand at writing some fanfiction, but never got any feedback, so I don't know if I'm any good at it or not. What kind of fanfiction do you write, and if you don't mind me asking, what is the name of the forum you belong to? You can pm me if you don't want to mention it here.

i notice that many actually like yaoi. I only read one story, it made me laugh real hard. the writer was real good, the story was very entertaining. still, i would rather watch hetero fics.
Harry potter with anime cross overs? I would like to check that one out. can you tell me what the story's title is? I'll try looking for it the next time i sign in.
I write parodies and romantic comedies, mostly involving canon characters paired with original characters. not everyone is into that, so i got little feedback as well. it's alright though, i still write, just to finish what i have started.

Thanks for your reply! My fanfiction skills are quite rusty, and need some feedback,lol! I don't remember that writer's last name, unfortunately. What I thought was cool is she crossed over into doing full length novels, yaoi, of course. She did a lot of Gundum Wing fics. Thanks for the links, too.

-sigh- yaoi is so famous, i wonder why? i still can't relate to those who like yaoi. -sweatdrop- I used to do cross overs for my parodies, like putting all johnny depps, nick carter, draco malfoy and even leonidas in one story. haha, that was a crazy fic.
I hope you would write stories again. I bet when you meet more people from those forums i posted, you would be influenced by them.
