immortality..?

Everyone, or so it seems to me, as though every one in the world believes we are immortal! Is it because we feel sort of 'immortal' within? - I saw in an old black and white movie, a sheriff and lady standing over a grave and he said how he, the person in the grave, would one day rise from that grave.. That's how I believe! To me, a Bible reader and believer, the Bible says resurrection, but not death as a different form of life.. What do you think? - Nothing after life? inherent immortality? dead as in not alive or conscious until resurrection day? or believers in Christ continue one way, unbelievers another? I'm curious

I think we are all immortal if we want to be. Those who don't believe probably just stop there. I also think that we all move forward if we want to, not backward.

I like your vision of the after, or later life! It fits in good with my own! I've never felt much truth in us sitting around on clouds playing harps..

Humans were originally created to be immortal. But as they sin, the spirit within them starts to separate. There's a civilization, an ancient one, who still lives to this very day. Immortality is something achieved and learned. But nowadays, life span seems shorter and shorter. But the clocks are turning different now. Have you noticed the children being born from year 2000 are taller than the previous generation? That's one clue to that.. and many more

Immortality how good it sounds. to live forever to live permanently. I think that after we die and go to be reborn in another world. as it says in the Bible or in heaven or in hell. I tend to believe these things. interesting discussion. my congratulations. nice day!
