Hi guys, I had discussed how I had joined iwriter about a month ago. I have almost reached my threshold which is $20 and I will be soon be receiving my payment. If you are a member already, I wish you all the best. If you aren't I wouldn't recommend the site.

Hi Boyuancy, you do not seem happy at the site. What is the reason? Is it the low earning rate? If you can join Textbroker, I suggest that you join, and work up the rank to the highest pay scale there. At least you have better pay per word for freelance writing.

Yes, I'm not happy with the site as it pays too low for the work. I'm planning on joining revenue sharing sites. If it doesn't work out, I will see textbroker. Also, do you know about ContentCurrent?

Hi Boyuancy, best to stick to sites that are established first. You will learn about the demand of certain niches. After you have learnt about seo, and the niches that are popular, you can write for passive income in revenue sharing sites. I do not ghostwrite for anyone. I want my content to produce income for years and years. Right now, I am building up a portfolio in Expertscolumn. I have slightly more than 600 articles now. Most of the articles are actually published in Triond a year or so ago. Since Expertscolumn allows republishing of content, I just copy and paste over. If you like to join, you are welcome to join as my referral. The link is in my profile page.

I'm already a member of Expertscolumn, and although I don't have enough articles there, I plan to use republished content there as you. I have understood considerable things about SEO, and it is way easier than it is made to think, atleast from the writing POV. I am starting my dedicated work on Factoidz.

Hate to say "I told you so" but, well, you know... Content mills are easy money but they simply don't pay well for the work expected. Textbroker runs in the same sort of range - around $7 or so per article as a 4-star writer, or something. There's a BIG jump in cash if you can hit the 5-star level but I suspect there's less work at that price.

Unless he's never tried it himself, of course, which is the case here. I do speak crap sometimes, so it's worth making your own decisions. And thank you for the compliments on the forum - and for making it a better place, both of you!

Boyuancy, I second that - Spike's forum is new and small but perfectly formed, with some great advice, and some helpful and supportive members. I haven't bothered with iwriter yet, and after reading this, I don't think I will. Our Spike knows his stuff, and if he says don't bother, we should all take note.

It's completely the other way around here. I started with 5 stars and dropped down to 4. Also, there is more work and easier too, for the 'Elite' writers. By the way, that's a nice forum you've got there for freelance writers. Best of luck for it.

I was thinking of joining this site. Another mylot discussion gave me info about this site. Then I looked into FAQ and found that earnings were little low initially. A fellow mylotter told me that payments increase as your write more and with better star ratings. Hang on there and see if you can earn more!

If you are thinking of joining an upfront payment writing site, I suggest you join textbroker. They have way better payment options than this site, way better.

So glad to know so much about iwriter, i joined this site several days before, and it is only until today that i tried to wrote two articles, because i am not sure about the fate of my articles, therefore i chose some short ones. What i want to know is how long it usually takes us to get the fate of our articles? Will we wait 1-3 days? I am waiting for the results and i am not dared to write more, because if all of them are rejected, then as you said, the reputation of mine will be drop. Then i will find it harder to find articles to write.

Your articles' 'fate' would be decided in a day. If you are selected, you will see a 'red' notification number on the top, saying that these number of articles need your attention. Write in the areas that you are good in, so you get easily selected and it boosts your confidence level.

Hi,yo know what, thrice i submit my own article but i am rejected because of my poor English, i wish my article approved but since not, i have no time there to resubmit again, and i have other site that is not strict in grammar .

I may not be completely because of poor grammer. There are psychopaths who request for articles. I wrote an article for a guy, and got rejected for the first time. I agreed it wasn't the best stuff I had written. Then I wrote again for the same guy, I got rejected again. It happened 3 times straight and from 5 stars (Max. possible), I got down to 4. All my rest articles were accepted, I guess just one more was rejected. It was my bad.

i think as long as the site is not scam site, make your articles in that website as the investment maybe you did not get directly in one month, but maybe you can collect one dollar from month to month, you will get your payment in more than 5 month maybe, but it was better than get nothing.. right?/

It depends upon how focused you are boyuancy. I think you are scattering your energies as of now because you want everything faster. But beginnings are always slow..be it in automobiles or even lives. So giving up at 20 dollars doesnt appeal to me. I have so far earned about 72+ in less than a month. So I wouldnt advise anybody to leave it.

The thing is, I feel the site pays too low for good work, which can be appreciated very well. I don't really know what niches you write about, but I write about online money making, and it is one of the best earning niches. So I'm not giving up, I'm just moving over to another site.

I was considering joining iwriter, is there any particular reason why you are leaving? I have owned triond and since have into made any money on it, a well as yahoo! Contributor where they have rejected a few of my posts, but triond picks up where yahoo! Drops off. I'd like to know if you are planning on joining another site, or if you have any tips for how you earned $20 in a month. I have a lot of trouble coming up with topics to write about and am always looming for new ideas and tips to improve. :) all the best, Runi

Hey Runi, the reason I'm leaving is that the pay isn't really good. I mean I believe I have offered very good content for mediocre prices, and the information I give out through my writing is well, way more worth than that. I wrote particularly for the Online Income and Technology niches, where I would find many articles about topics on which I've written before like web hosting, buying fans etc. So I just had to reproduce the same content over and over with different words. You may join the site for experience if you like.
