Hello MyLoters, do you like to travel by car? I mean, by driving. I kinda like it. I can drive for hours and hours in order to go to a place I want to go. I used to drive from a state to another state, visit different cities, seeing variety of peoples and experience their cultures. By driving, I can manage my time as I want: I would stop by a lake on my way, and I'll fishing at the lake; I would stop on the higher place, and enjoy the cool air and the scene. When the day getting darker and I unable to get to my destination, sometimes I will just spend the night sleeping in the car. :D I find this very exciting & fascinating. How about you? Do you enjoy travelling by car?

I love traveling by car too because you can leave when you want too and stay however long you like to at a certain place. And you can see different scenarios when driving by car as well. I drove from Ny to Nc before it is a 12 hour drive and it was nice and relaxing. Sometimes you would hit heavy traffic but that heavy traffic really didn't bother me. I get used to it the more I keep on driving. The only place I hate driving to is big cities with alot of traffic it makes me nervous alot. But i'm sure i'll get used to it in time.

I'm sure you'll get used to the heavy traffic in big cities. I don't like the feeling as well, but I went through. Just have to be patient, turn up some nice musics, and take it slow and steady...

Hi Lucas, I love travelling by car. While travelling on the road with shady trees on both the sides it makes me feel better. I go for a long drive most of the weekends and it is hobby. Recently I bought a new car and it is very comfortable for me and it makes me to enjoy my travel. Usually even if it is 500 miles to travel, I prefer car as I love driving. Nice discussion. Cheers,... Happy myLotting....

Today I drove in my car to a garden center with a lovely playground for children. My kids liked going on the model pirate ship. Then I drove on to a seaside town called Burnham. We looked at the shops and my kids did some digging and plus making sandcastles. I really enjoy driving my car to places of interest and where I need to go. It took me years to learn how to dive and it was challenging to pass my practical driving test. Amazingly two years ago I managed to pass my practical driving test. My car two children's seat in the back for my daughter and my disabled son.

It's so wonderful when we spend the time with our family, or people we love, right? You enjoy driving, and bring them to some places to visit and have fun. During the driving, we can have conversation, look out with each others and I have to say it's so enjoyable. I enjoy driving together with my gf, and I feel so happy when we arrive the destination safely. It's great for you to have yout driving license, things have become simple with it. :D

I enjoy it, sure, as long as I'm not stuck in traffic - then I just get irritated. I definitely am someone who enjoys driving in general though. An open road, with some good friends, with some good tunes in the background - there's really nothing better in my opinion! It's much more convenient too than walking, biking, or taking any kind of public transportation. Only problem is that it gets expensive. Car insurance, car repair, and of course...GASOLINE! Gah!

Yeah, hitting on an open highway, with partner, friends, and you're right, some good tunes in the background, things are so perfect. It's so much easy and fun! For my case, there's a thing I don't like is to pay the toll. :D

Given the chance, I would love to travel by car and do a road trip to the different provinces. We only did it once. But the traffic was terrible. It was so tiring but the feeling was great. Especially when you drive along the coast during sunset, nothing can beat that. I love the breeze and the scenery... I love the adventure of not knowing where you will stop and have to ask a stranger for a place to stay for the night or just park your car and sleep there. hehehe...

I too prefer to travel by car. I like that I can go at my own pace and also be able to stop off to visit local attractions that interest me along the way. Plus, I can stop for rest breaks and to eat when I am ready. I think its the only way to travel.

That's right! Own pace and stop anytime & anywhere along the way! How wonderful and free! Isn't it? :)

I love to travel by car. We are very independent when we travel by car and we can stop whenever and wherever we choose. If we see something interesting and something that we would like to explore and can just stop and we don't have to worry about missing the last bus. My husband and I love to listen to our favourite music when we are driving and that makes the trip even better. Sometimes we travel with some friends and we always have a very good time when we explore a new part of the country together. One day my husband and I want to visit the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg by car, I think it will be very nice to drive there instead of going by train or by bus.

I like travelling by car.You can stop where ever you want for as long as you want!Went last year from Montreal ,Canada to Williamsburg ,Virginia,USA.Very long trip, over 1400 km.On the way there,we stopped for the night at about half the distance, but on the way back dad to do it in one shot!14 hours!even with 2 drivers, was tooo long!we were exausted.Did this trip 20 years ago,did not seem that hard.....Wish I could get a motorhome, and travel around Canada and the US.But these days have to be careful of certain kinds of people. So I would park overnight in secure zones like an RV park.

I too love to travel by car. You get to see so much more, the beautiful mountains, farms, so much of our wonderful country. I also don't mind a long drive to work, it gives me a chance to leave the problems of home and set my mind for work, and the other way, on the way home I forget about work and think about the things at home. As Americans we love our cars.

Travel by car is my favorite choice only if all the parts are well working especially the air-conditioner! I had a bad experience for just a 15 mins short distance driving under the hot sun was like burning forever in hell!
