Changing blog name.. Is it good? What is the impact?

Hi Readers, I have started my blog some 3 years before. Previously I have good amount of traffic and later on for atleast a year and a half I have left it untouched. My traffic slowed down and now I again renewed it and posting regular updates. I now planning to change my blog name. Is it good to change the name of my blog? what will be the imapct if I change? If I change what I must post-changing the name. Do I need to submit my blog again to search engines and other traffic sources? Now some keywords in google search display my website on the first page of google. If I change name will it have any adverse effect? Please clarify me on this. Cheers... Change is good, but if you have many followers already then I think you should tell them? Hmm. I am not too fan of blog but there are other blog I followed but when they change I couldn't find them anymore. I think they changed their blog name, without notice.

I hope so. If the blog has a regular updates, name change will be a great mistake sometimes without a information. Thanks for sharing. Cheers....

Hi and a happy day to all! Your blog has been there for 3 years. Well it might be smart to look at your subcribers or followers because they might lose you when you change your name.You may post a good message saying your going to have more interesting site and follow you there. Enjoy your day!

That is really a great idea but a while ago I have gone off without updating my site. So I think most of my followers forget my site. But I hope changing the name at this moment is a good one as I am already active from the recent days... Cheers.... Have a nice day always...

Hello, I have blogged for nine years. It is good to change the name of your blog. When I changed the name of my blog, traffic increased and I made more money.

hello too i dont think it was influence your traffic as long as you can keep your content.. the title is important maybe but the content and the promotion are more important i think

Three years is long time. This means you have a good following. So if you need to change your blog name, you also need to inform your followers. This is to allow your friends know where you are now. In this case your traffic may increase. All the best to you.
