Do you need some changes in mylot

Well one thing that will be really useful is another section that would flash or show a number of something when you get a reply on a post you commented cause every time I'm commenting on a post I have to reopen it after some time to see if there is a reply on my comment and since I'm active on mylot I have to open like 10-15 tabs or more every time I do this check.

Hi Sajeev.. Even I am on mylot since few years now. But still I never thought that it need any changes.. It looks just perfect to me. I never used clixsense forum so I don't know about which idea you are talking about..

Try to send your opinions to them, if they like it they'll put it. And you are right! The layout here is perrrfect!

Do you mean embedded reply box? But it would be mean that there will be less of page views, perhaps it can be a drawback :P. It's a good idea though, so we can make quick replies. Let just hope there will be some improvements here.. ~although I don't really have idea about what myLot programmers currently do now..

It it would improve or makes it faster, it is very welcome, though I am still ok with the way Mylot it right now. It is much faster compared to a few months ago.

yes that take too much time when you want to participate on more discussion and taking lay out mylot should have more colorful layout

Well personally I think some of the issue could be the amount of people that might be in here posting from time to time that slows down the service for this site. But one thing that would be nice if they could make an Ap that people could use on their phone to be able to reply from, and/or link our profiles and discussions with Facebook to make people more interested and want to be here.

There should be a proper notification when someone responds to the discussion we started. If there are responses for more than one of our discussions, we can't exactly know for which discussions we've got responses. Only the latest is shown in bold letters. Same with other comments for our responses in other discussions.

I understand what you mean, sajeevking. It's been quite a while since I've became a member here and MyLot is still the same. I think the other reason why MyLot is slow too is because of the codes used to construct this site. I mean, the overall of the site itself. Forgive me if my IT personality is taking over for the next few sentences... I've noticed that the site is more on the HTML format. It's a programming language that is the skeleton of any website but I don't think it's fit to become the only language to support a site such as MyLot with it's population. It's a very old programming language and has it's disadvantages in speed compared to its descendants. --I'm stopping the nose-bleeding part of the analysis of an IT geek like me before I do anymore harm--- Yes, I do wish for some changes especially when bugs in the system are being frequent already. I also think it's time to put some little changes behind the codes that instead of using HTML for designing, it's nigh the time to use either PHP, java or just only at least the CSS to speed up things better...Oh my gosh, I'm going back--well anyways what I mean to say is, not to reconstruct MyLot from top to bottom but just change some itty-bitty part of the code that designs the face of MyLot to something that will load faster. And there's also the part where looking for users are quite a job because you can't get to search them out on automatic. Instead one has to work his butt off reading thousands of people's profile names first before you really find your needle in the hay stack...do you get what I mean?

hi friend i also want changes i will also started some discussions based on them but mylot will delete all those discussion .but with your discussion it seems that fight continue between mylot and its users for changes and if will continue we will soon see some changes in mylot .

Yes. Of course everyone of us loves changes that can also help us post comments faster.

I do like mylot and the layout is excellent but I wish the money is higher as sometimes I have been on here for a few hours and made only a few cense.

I don't want any change in Mylot,but sometimes it occurs to me how it would be if Mylot starts selecting the best discussion of the week or the best discussion of the month.Don't you think it would be encouraging for mylotters and would inspire them to initiate quality discussions? A similar selection may be made for the best responses.

I still remember you, dear friend:) Since I don't try to post in Clixsense, so I don't know its difference between it and Mylot. As you know, I have been a member of Mylot for a long time and therefore I have got used to it. I don't expect a very big change here. I love China

it can be an idea about a site like mylot too...surely it wouldn't be so easy make changement on a site like mylot but a nice changement here would be to improve speed of the site and so the posting too...all changements in this can be ok..

mylot is not face book so lets not make mylot another facebook, sure facebook changes and does it too damned much. I dislike faceboook because it gets hardier an more complicated to use. I love the unique way mylot w orks and its simplicity. just contact the admins if it seems slow and they will goose it up no need for changes that will make mylot just a copy of facebook not at all. if it ain't broken why the hell fix it?"[

I do like the format of mylot. Sure we come across some glitches or slowness from time to time but mylot is usually quick to resolve that for us. Now I think you mean a "quick reply" button so in you do not have to wait for all to load. I can understand that, but as I said if it's slow it shouldn't be for too long as mylot does try to keep the site running as fast as possible. It could also be your internet connection or computer resources. Sometimes when I have many things opened mylot takes a bit, but other times when I've got nary but one thing opened mylot speeds through.

Hmm change is good but often times when we think it is good, we might regret it when it is there...and wish for things to go back the way it was before. But for here in mylot, i am quite happy with the way things are. If you are suggesting like a box that will pop up and you get to reply immediately.. that would let you create a lot more responses but, that would also make people lazy to go and read other people's comments too... some people might also take it as an opportunity to just reply and reply without taking time to read and interact.

just make the website for smart phone or make an application for device, it's so annoying when access it. i must to scrolling. hard to type the text and my smartphone is so slow. it's not practical.
