Observing the Holy Week or the Season of Lent

This is particularly a time for most of us Catholics to reflect and acknowledge the goodness our Jesus Christ has made all for our redemption of our sins. There are things to be thankful of, the gift of life, the air we breathe, the food we each partake everyday, the many but unnoticed miracles in our daily lives. God has been truly merciful and Saviour, that despite our failures that make cause Him to be disappointed, He continued to share His love, embrace us with the mantle of protection. How unselfish His heart is!

This is very true, and I hope that we haven't forgotten the essence of the Lenten season and say prayers of thanks for the many blessings we've received even if we're on the beach or somewhere spending our time with our family during the long break.
