The Big Guyz seem to be quiet busy suing spammers for taking advantage of their websites.
Twitter has filed a case on Apr 5th against five websites for breaking their TOS and most importantly for developing tools which encourages (excessive) spamming.
Have a look around twitter ... you'll shocked to find thousands of spam accounts created with no avatar and zero tweets using automated tools developed by the five sites being sued!
Tweetattacks.com and tweetbuddy.com went down last month and they receive their respective court notices earlier this month i suppose!
Few months back megaupload was taken down by FBI over piracy allegations!
Its about time,facebook does something to scare the heck outta those spammers too by taking legal actions!
What do you think about these legal actions being taken by social networking sites ???
Wouldn't it be nice to be around real facebook users than to receive spam from bogus accounts created to make money from? Its gonna be so peaceful ?
I'm crazy about movies ... i download them from torrent sites almost each and every day!
Only thing which bothers me is
where am i going to download movies from if all torrents go down

I do not download torrents, because that is illegal.
However, how am I going to get all the copies from movies that my friends have downloaded if torrents go down.

LOL! I like your combination of the "wub" and "evilgrin" emoticons ... is that sort-of like an "evil-love" type thing?
I do not have the capability to do a torrent site when all the others go down, but I probably know one or two people that would be able to do it ... as long as they have not downloaded another virus and had their computer crash again.

Evil-Love sounds great though its more of fantasy kinda stuff

I think tweeter is a spamming tool as that's what most of users I see use it for. I've not used it for years as it does not give me nothing but spam spam and more spam. If there is something interesting I want to read about someone I'm following U have to search it between hundreds of spam messages so I got bored and dumped it...
Of course there are always people who know how to take advantage of tools like twitter or facebook and start spamming big time. If they are taken out that's fine to me :)

Exactly, if it's used that way it would be a great tool to share stuff with your friends all at the same time or maybe just to receive info from your favourite singers o actors or something like that. But the way it is being used at this moment or better yet the moment I stopped using it was just a waste...

Now that you mentioned about celebrities ... twitter is quiet big for celebrities! Majority of them are in there.Its nice to be updated about their upcoming projects rather than reading about them in news articles as we normally do.

Many are using it for spamming purposes but it has its own beauty and an unique way to interact and share stuff with your friends which isn't the case any longer though i suppose.Thanks and have a nice day!
Such kind of spamming work is going on in big number. I guess it will be hard for them to stop all of them. I wonder what kind of work they have done so that twitter send them legal notice!!!

Those websites developed softwares which in turn helps a normal user to create thousand's of twitter accounts using proxies without even breaking a sweat!These accounts can later be sold or used for spamming purposes!Those software's are quiet a craze which can be bought at a price.

The one who owns megaupload is in jail right now ... site was taken down four months back over piracy related stuff!Yep ... it pretty much used to be rapidshare!
