After graduated from school and work now, they still having the same weight although I see they eat a lot of good food that are quite high in calories. Dear Wongchoiyee There are things that you must be aware of when you or others maintain an ideal weight for the rest of their lives. First, they are born with high metabolic rate. Secondly they exercise more than ever. i.e. their intake of calories is lower than the calories they burn. Finally, having a heavier body because of muscles, the rate of calories burning are higher. Hence they could be doing strength training or muscle building. Remember to maintain a constant weight requires you to exercise more and eat lesser. That's my take so far. OK? Thanks. Love: Bro. Joe. I think it has to do with our genes. My weight has also remained the same since my high school..it never crosses over 60. I am also confused..it fluctuates although, but it always fall between 58 to 60. I am glad i don't have a belly too, whereas all my friends have..lol

Hello there, you raise a tough question. Since maintain an ideal weight, it is not easy. Here I would like to share my tips: 1) Try to eat moderate amount of food each meal (3 meals a day). This means don't make your stomach fully loaded 2) If you go for the buffee, you can spoil yourself. Then the next meal try to eat less on none. 3) Do regular exercise, try to walk where you go instead of taking a car or metro 4) Try not to consume much sugar and fat (I will suggest only eat lean meat). 5) Weigh yourself regularly so that you can monitor your weigh closely 6) Try not to intake any food after 21;00 Hope this helps.

I believe that gaining or losing weight is hereditary. I have observed that when one in the family is overweight, you can be sure that the rest of her family are overweight too. Of course there a,re other factors like the kind of our activity and of course our diet. Getting pregnant also makes us gain weight. Maybe we should keep watch of everything we do, diet should be according to what our body need, we should also see to it that we burn the extra calories by being active. After giving birth we should exercise to trim our muscles and postpone the next pregnancy until after 3 to 5 years. Just a suggestion.

It really depends on the person, but if you want to keep the weight off simply just don't eat that much sugar anymore and sweets. It will cut back loads on your weight. Some mild excersize daily will help too, maybe an hour a day walking if possible.

Genetics may count in, but there are some things I do (I'm far from ideal weight, but I really couldn't lose more, even if I were going to the gym every day and eating according to a special diet... now I just try not to pick up any kilos) -no food after 6pm, or if I do, only fruit -2 liters of water/drinks a day -eating more times a day (like 5 times), but smaller quantities -not eating out too many times -not eating too much when I visit someone (sometimes it's hard, like at Christmas family gatherings) -food with decreased salt and fat quantity -exercising

I would love to know this as well. I have no luck whatsoever keeping my weight down. I think that the best thing is doing Cardio, no necessarily watching what you eat.
