in the year 2011 i read 400 books on a dare from a friend of mine who later dared me to lose weight, run cross country, and other crazy stuff. but i read those 400 books, and wrote down all the titles and everything for her. now i need something new to read. i live in idaho a long ways from the library, and most of the books in the library i have read all ready, so does anyone have some good books i can get on Amazon for less than 10 $$???? i need something new to read!!!! i will read anything. ANYTHING NEW that i can find. money doesnt matter so if its more than ten. . . . whatever. i still want to check it out. :) thank you!!!!

Well, I’m not sure what kind of subject interests you the most, but myself, I look for good fantasy writers to follow. So far my favorites are R.A. Salvatore and Robert Jordan. Specifically, the Hunter’s Blades trilogy from Salvatore and the Wheel of time series from Jordan. If you could provide a list of books you have read so far, I could probably help you out more.

Wow, I thought I was a hardcore reader and the most books I've read in a year was 130. How did you manage to read 400 in a year? Were they short books? Mix of short and long (That's me, to be honest. I read bite sized children's novels and 1,000 page fantasy epics and put them all on my list.). I'm a big fantasy fan myself, and some of my favorite books are the Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis, The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle, The Unicorn Chronicles by Bruce Coville, The Books of Pellinor series by Alison Croggon, and the Circle Trilogy by Ted Dekker. I recently read The Girl Who Could Fly by Victoria Forester and Watersmeet by Ellen Jensen Abbott and really enjoyed both. I'm pretty sure you can get many of them used on Amazon for under $10, or if you buy new then I'm pretty sure you can get a paper back for that much.

Well that is a great accomplishment, reading 400 books just for a year is something unimaginable. Great work!

Okay, excuse the plug for my own novel, but since you are asking for suggestions... Kickshaw Candies by R.K. Finnell. Both Kindle and print versions available for under $10.00

Hi, Piano! I'm sorry, I'm not able to help you but I want to tell you that you are a miracle! Today most kids on your age don't touch a book and you've read 400 in one year. As a mother I can tell you that you restored my hope in the future of our children. Maybe you can find books online. I know a couple of sites but they are in Bulgarian and Russian :)) Please, don't give up reading!

Wow that is incredible that you have read so many books! I would suggest that maybe you invest in getting a Kindle or a reading tablet like it so you can get a bunch of free and greatly discounted books if you like to read so much! Anything mystery, suspensful, or fantasy works well for me. Have you ever read the Phantom Toll Booth?
