Its an HP, because I always have used HP printers, and also it goes well with my HP computer. This one will read the memory stick right out of my camera and print the picture directly from the stick. (I know this is old technology but its new to me!) I could hardly wait to get the horses unharnessed off the buggy, I was in such a hurry to see if I could get the the printer to work! Anyway my wife was kind of skeptical when she saw the fancy box! She says," Do u really think you can figure that thing out by yourself?" Well to be honest it took me a couple of hours because they don't tell you how to do it, they assume that we all are as hip as the guys who spent years developing this space age junk. ( It sure is gonna be a lot of fun printing out bank statements!)

I have a wireless HP printer, too. I had a tough time setting it up for the first time because I used my netbook. I had to download all of the software from HP's website so I could get it to work. It would have been a lot easier if I could have used the disc that came with it! My printer does something that's totally a pain in the neck... if the power goes out for any length of time, it "forgets" all of the wireless settings. I had to reinstall the HP software on my netbook so I could reprogram the settings.

I really like my printer too! It was hard to hook up but I just kept at it. I like the way it prints 4'x6" glossy pics. I've never had any problem with power outages. I unplugged it one night last week when we had a close thunder-storm.It came back on ok in the morning.

Be kind to the environment. Save paper. Save your bank statements to a folder on your computer.
