Some tasks in mylot pay really really low..

for quite time consuming stuff - like commenting, or signing up..they only pay 1 or 2 cents for it. This really makes me discouraged in doing tasks and some of them are only for specific countries too.

I agree with you, Stanley. When I first saw tasks offered on this site, I truly thought I would be spending some time doing tasks. As it turns out, I haven't completed one task. I personally feel that my time is much better spent getting involved with the discussions.

The backbone of myLot is the discussions. Tasks are just a supplimentary addition. If myLot were just about doing tasks I certainly would not be here.

Ha ha ha, your right, it's just an incentive for us members to have additional credit. Anyway, increasing our activity here is more rewarding.

i did tasks when i was still new at mylot, some of them paid well for easy tasks, i am just sad that there are less tasks these days.. so like you, i also spend my time in answering posts instead of doing tasks.

stanley: Yes. In terms of dollars it is 1 cent. In terms of Indian rupees it works out to 50 paise only. But it is a thrill to do some of those tasks just like that.

Yeah, for us it's not that much but for the tasks provider I guess they get more for it. Maybe, I think because why would they offer if they won't benefit from it.And in fairness it's an additional credit for us too.

One dollar cent is only 40 cents in out currency.. It would be nice if the minimum was 4 cents..

Yes. stanley-- 1 cent in terms of indian rupees is equivalent to 50 p and this 50 p can buy only 50 p and nothing else. even chocolates require 2 fifty paise in India. But the task creator has to have sufficient funds and must be having more benefit by our work . then only they can pay us more. you also know that. good day.

yeah... well that is mylot.. but the good thing is they do not promise big earnings and you will eventually get turned off because the site cannot afford to pay what is due their members. when it comes to tasks, hmm i guess some are ok for me, though i am unable to join as i am usually in mylot at the office and some sites are blocked so i rely on my participation earnings more. :D

Mylot is a good site since it pays it members and they have this algorithm to compute hoe much we earn daily.. I don't know how to earn so big each day though, reaching a dollar is hard for me.

Why don't these employers in Mylot stop their disgusted task offering here, if they want mylot members to do their tasks, they need to pay at least resonable rate instead of slave rate for doing tasks in Mylot. We are not some cheap illiterate workers that crave for 0.0001 to 0.0005 cent for half an hour work, just take your job somewhere else, stop humiliate yourself with your task offer, you are too cheap to be an employers that can afford to pay someone to do your task. It is better for you to do it yourself or ask your wife/girl friend to do them for you.....

I had tried couple of those tasks before, they not only pay extremely low and take a while to do, they also very difficult to be accepted by employers as job well done, i practically gave up after a while. I am wondering where Mylot find these people to submit their tasks for us, they are way too cheap to become employers in the first place, they should do those tasks themselves since they are extremely 'cheap'. Seem like they are also Mylot members and quite a few of them are from India. I think it is a waste of time to do the task at all.

Oh, I see anyway, I guess the best we could do is just ignore these offered tasks. Or we could just wait for a bigger take just in case they will offer in the future. Thanks for your time my friend.

Isn't it the mylot members who decide how much their tasks are worth? Mylot just gives the opportunity to the member to make tasks, but the mylotters are the ones responsible for it, approving it too.

Well yea.Mylot tasks pay really really low.I have only done one task.Which gave about .08.And the rest i checked only paid only about 0.01 and all. And since then i haven't even checked the tasks yet.Why bother spending so much time doing it when you get only such a low income on it.I have been active here for about 4 days and i have made more than 2 dollars. So why waste doing tasks?

i fully agree with you. it takes me a lot of time to understand the task, to try to do it. then some mistakes are happening. i try to solve the problem. i may spend 7 minutes or more to it. nut it is only 0.01 - 0.02. I would be gald if it was 0.1. :DD but this is so. :)

I also think some mylotters give so little time for some tasks too- i did a task once where it required a comment and then it just gave me 5 minutes, so i had to open the site before i accepted the task or i wouldn't have made it on time.

Of coarse we have to open the site first and think if we can do it on the allotted time given by the task maker. But sometimes we can not understand the instruction and if we do we run out of time. Anyway, I guess we just wait for an easy task with little time and a bigger credit, I just hope there is.

You are right. The tasks earning is very low in Mylot. It can't even compare to some tasks websites like Microworkers. However, Microworkers pays by Alertpay but at least Mylot can pay by Paypal. Perhaps this is the only one advantage of doing the tasks in Mylot. I always don't understand why Mylot doesn't offer a higher earning for doing the tasks. I am sure it will make Mylot much more popular. I love China

yes, I am so glad that mylot pays with Paypal, since nt many good sites ay in Paypal.. they should though. It's actually the mylotters who decide how much each task cost..u can even make your own tasks for others to do.

I have one there available for 1 cent with no signing up necessary and I can assure you that there is more work for me to do when a user completes it than there is for the user themself. I receive a PM and have to open it. That takes me to the name of the user. I then have to go to the site to see if they did what was requested. Then I have to go to another page to 'pay' them. Then I have to go and delete the PM. If I can do all that for nothing then I'm sure they can do what I ask of them for 1 miserable cent

Thank you ravisan I would have liked to have paid more for it but I have to have funds for the next one which I hope to create this week. There will be a bit more to do with a higher reward. Yes, sadly HWG is still missing

mysdianait: It depends on the gain one makes that decides the amount he/she can pay others. In your task you fixed at 1 cent and I took it up for mysdianait sake. We have not met but you are one among the few people who guided me initially --there are many others --one hardworkinggirl is not coming nowadays in mylot--. It is not the amount but the importance given to the person doing the work. I felt happy and I did it. I wish you get many more assignments like that and keep mylot members busy.

mysdianait: thanks for your response. I am replying to appreciate your response wherein you have taken care to answer all the points raised including HWG. Great. It shows you read all responses fully, understand and reply.

i guess that is so because tasks are created by mylotters too.. i am not into doing tasks as nothing interests me that much.. i would rather spend time in discussions
• Philippines

YEah, mylotters are quite precautious in paying the tasks since they also don't want to lose that much money. So , I agree with both of you. let's just stick to discussions.

I too like discussing things here.SO I never waste my time doing posts.I mean what is the point of wasting time doing it if they pay very low.

Yes some tasks dont pay much and its a huge pain to get the task done. I have tried a few and got frustrated at the time it takes to complete it and in the end we are thrown a pittance for all our efforts. Its necessary to be selective and choose only those task that pays

Yeah, I noticed that too- but i just finished tasks which pay quite high for doing something simple- she approved fast too. I think she is a new member- I hope she makes more tasks.

Your right, in fact I did some too which I finished in a short time and was approved in less time. I think we shall have to look for it more often so we can pick which is more easy to do.

Yes, there are only a few. In the meantime, I just concentrate in posting comment/response to discussions. I do checked the tasks once in a while though, maybe I get lucky to see one.

Yes, yes. I have the same sentiment as you are. If only I can get a hold of Sharon Bucks tasks again. Anyway, I don't do tasks nowadays as they seem to be bothersome and low value. I'll just use my time participating in discussions, which I think will earn me more compared to putting up a well though article at a low price.

Yes, responding and making discussions - we can earn a lot by doing that and it is more fun too . I thin tasks are just there for added income- and if you have nothing else to do.

It is quite very sad to tell you that there are some tasks avaliable at low income. Really it discourages us. I think doing a task it bit easy one but still they pay less

I don't think they pay that low. I mean, commenting on a site doesn't even take a minute, I wouldn't expect that much more money for it, I'm happy with what I get... I'm even happy that I can earn money this way, I'm not greedy or something.

Well, we still have to read the article on the website and some are really long articles and even have some rules on how to comment. But I agree- I am also glad we can earn some money with tasks..
