I'm a product of a broken family, but before that happened, we had a really happy and peaceful family life. That's what I miss the most and often ponder on. Those times when we eat together and pray together as a family. We used to watch a movie as a family. We go to the beach, and the mall, and the park. We did a lot of things a normal family would do when everyone is around. Unfortunately, I don't get to do that with my parents and siblings anymore. Now, that I have my own family, I will do my best to take care of it and fight for them. That has been my constant prayer to God - that he'd help us take care of our family.

Oh, sorry to hear that, esor. Are your kids all grown up, now? I do hope they don't bring bad memories that may have ill effects on their lives after what happened in your family. Sad to say, my brother and sister both got affected badly by what happened to us. I think because they were not mature enough to understand.

I can relate to that. I always find myself telling my little brother and my younger cousins, don't be in such a rush to grow up. You need to stop and enjoy your youth, the real world isn't everything you think it's going to be. I long for the simpler days of being young and living with my grandmother, and to some greater degree just having my grandmother around when I needed someone to talk to, she's been gone for eight years now.

i miss that time in my childhood days when i could get everything that i want.. toys, clothes, shoes, etc. my dad would really buy everything that me and my sister have requested.. now, they can't do it easily anymore since i demand stuffs that cost so much money but i understand since i know that there are other thing that my parents still have to pay :))
