The age old question - Price or Quality?

The other day, a friend of mine posted on Facebook that she was anxiously awaiting the Xfinity installation guy that was going to switch her from Verizon Fios to Xfinity (Comcast) cable because they were offering a much better price for the next 2 years. Well, I responded that there is no amount of discount that would make up for the lack of service I would get as an Xfinity customer. So are you the kind of person that goes for the best price or the best service? I have no problem paying a little extra for better service/quality.

I go for quality in things I care about but television service is not something I really care about. I watch it and enjoy it but if it was gone I wouldn't miss it much. I switch in a heartbeat if I wasn't moving as soon as my house sells!! My bill has gone from $90 for internet, tv and phone started in 2009 to $155!!!! Ridiculous. The main attraction was no contract and low prices but the only advantage now is no contract. For entertainment, I'd go for price over service.

I am the type to go for quality, but I am also aware of what I can afford. Sometimes I have to settle for less quality because I can only afford a certain amount of money to spend. But even then, I make sure I am buying the best product I can for the money by reading reviews, and comparing products by researching them.

If i'm going to be spending quite a bit of money on something i would rather get the quality item that will last or have great customer service.
