How to promote my blog effectivey?

I start a blog in the website Hubpages.Now I only published 9 articles, and my traffic is less. I have submitted some of my articles to digg, reddit and pinterest,etc, but I still can't get more traffic. I just want to know are there any other social networking websites I can submit my articles.

Hi. What are the articles about? you can put the link to them in forum who are dealing with these subjects. you can also put it down in comments in articles around the web who write about these subjects. Good luck.

Sometimes it takes time before you can start seeing the flow of traffic. I think you have already submitted in the main social networks. Just keep on submitting and soon you might start getting traffic. You can also try to submit on Twitter if you have followers.
