singing while taking a bath

This is by far one of the best discussions I've come across. I sometimes indulge in this activity myself. But I'm not very loud. Seldom my family members can hear, that's all. To be honest I'm not gifted with a nightingale's voice either. Thus, I keep my voice low, so that I don't anger my nieghbours. Haha. When I'm not singing, I practice karate, pretending to hit several bad guys at one time. Thanks for this discussion. Good day!

I love to do it. As far as I concern it is the best way to sing unnoticed by others, na? But I have seen some others, who go on increasing sound even in his bath. Don't know what is his intention. If such people hav eto prove that they are singers, they must go to the stage and sing, the audience will decide whether he is a best singer.

this is not practiced solely by your brother, many are making use of the bathrooms to exercise their vocal cords and my youngest son is one. Whatever is their purpose or reason for singing while taking a bath then lets just let them enjoy it. maybe lets just have cotton balls ready to protect our eardrums.

I am a frustrated singer. I do not have a good voice but I do love to sing.However I couldn't sing to the best I can in front of an audience so I just do it while taking a bath. I surely sings out loud as if no one hears me. I could hear the echo and I do hear a good voice and a good song coming from me whoa.

Despite the fact that I've sold cassettes of me singing to hundreds of people, I don't think I have a good singing voice. But I will say that in the shower my voice gets a lot better.

LOL, I do this sometimes most especially when I am in a good mood. It’s somehow relaxing in a way singing while you are in the bathroom. But there is a con on doing so, because people in the house will get annoyed on your loud voice. Because you can’t tell if you sang loudly or not because the bathroom echoed your voice and you don’t know if it will bounce a loud tone outside the bathroom.

Well at least it is a sign of happiness, and that is a good thing ! The natural echo in a shower room, doesn't make your voice beautiful, but it does make it sound like it!

I am sorry, but the picture of your brother singing loudly and badly from the bathroom while you and everyone else roll your eyes and cover your ears is hilarious! It could be a scene from a movie!

Just a couple of months ago I met a guy who was my neighbor in one place. He remembered how I liked to sing while taking a bath. He even remembered the songs I was singing at the time and sang it for me. Mind you, we never met each other after around 15 years... So he has a good memory or was I that good in singing that he was mesmerized...? Singing while bathing is seen as someone having a good mood. Let your brother be...

I do sing while taking a shower. I listen to music while I take a shower and take a bath so I sing a long the song. I don't think that I sing that load though. I mostly sing with the music I am hearing and not any louder. I actually find it funny when I hear my roommate singing in the bathroom. I don't mind if he sings out of tune because it's his prerogative to do so.

I love singing but only in bathroom because I am a bathroom singer my voice is danger and everyone will run away if I will sing out of bathroom haha...just kidding. I like singing while bathing but not loudly.

lol,this is really interesting coz at least your brother loves life and he is ready to sing for his life,it's just somebody are lacking this spirit and we should indeed positive about life,it's amazing.Music rocks.But anyway,my voice is ok.

I also sing while in the bathroom. :) But I am confident for I am gifted with a very nice voice, I'm not boasting, just saying :))

I don't sing my heart out just like your brother, but I hum sometimes. I guess singing or humming while taking a bath adds to the feeling of caress because when taking a bath you are practically taking care of yourself.
