Hello Lotters,
I don't
know which emails do you often use but i have two, one is gmail and the other is yahoomail.
Rarely used the gmail though. I had it connected with youtube but i never really got to use it for some reason.
before yahoomail or any other mailing sites in the internet were very popular, until the rise of the social networking sites that made them put aside
I think emails are still useful, even though some of them are hacked

I check my emails religiously! Sometimes I have a lot of messages to respond to and sometimes I don't, but it has become a habit to check.

, well i seldom check my email but i give myself reasons why. first, some notifications about my electric and phone bills are also sent in email in advance before the bill actually itself mail comes in. maybe i should make my mail checking a habit, trouble it is though that there are some spam

LetranKnight, my email piles up quickly. If I don't check it regularly I will have hundreds of messages to sort through.

Hello LetranKnight25, I also agree that social networking sites have put them aside. But, I still use my email account. I often get into my gmail and look whether there is any important mails are out there .

Hello thewonderboy, not only that because of the online games, that social networking sites like facebook has more attention than the regular emails. although i have suceeded in seeing my emails again, i just had a hard time trying to utilize the benefits of it. Mails can still be important though but not all the time that it's needed. have a nice day

I have one mail email address and it comes from Hotmail. I have used it for nearly 15 years. I still prefer to contact others by email. So I often check my emails. And sometimes I am online in MSN. It will notify me whenever I have a new email.

Hello Youless, Oh my! i totally forgot about this site! how rude of me this is one of the oldest ever. I never got the chance to chat in the msn though. reminds me back in the highschool days when ever i used to chat online. i wish i could have mine notified through my cellphone but there's no internet in my phone. have a nice day

i have orginally 3 yahoo mail accounts,one gmail account, one rediffmail account and one income account,i too have three or more other email accounts,but i have not remembered in which email providers i have accounts, now two of my yahoo mail accounts are not working,and i have opened one more gmail account,mostly i check my mails in yahoo account,rediffmail account and gmail account also,have a nice day.

thanks for the response, i think in.com is best email provider,i am having an account since 6 years,but i never have any trouble with in.com, i am not regular to in.com,even though the site never troubled me till now, and regarding rediff mail also, does not give trouble to me,but the traffic is less to both the sites,have a nice day.

I'm a hotmail user. Never liked yahoo. Use gmail to communicate with Indian friends from my lot but hotmail is for closer friends and banking transactions.
I do still use my hotmail to send photos to close friends and of course documents to clients. I open my hotmail using my phone when i get notification for new messages.

Hello Toniganzon, Oh so like Sis Jaiho you also have so many indian friends too. only known some of them here in mylot but i know them mostly in mypage5. So, in your opinion, hotmail is even more secure than yahoo? for banking transactions? i think this has caught my interest because if it's more secure for bank transactions then i might change my yahoomail to hotmail. have anice day.

Well I've been using it for years and I haven't encountered any problems. Yahoo was my very first mail but I wasn't comfortable with it.

Hi,
I have three e-mail boxes, but i seldom check my emails. I just can't remember to do it. I always send my friend messages by cell phone if I want to contact them, it's convenient and I am sure my friend can get it soon. So when I thought of my email box one day, I checked , and I found there were many emails , but most of them are junk mails. Of course I still could see a few my friends sent me several months ago. Thanks for sharing!

Hellocapaopao, you better start checking them my friend, otherwise how can your friend get in touch or send some messages to you. If they are junk mails i strongly suggest that you need to delete them because some of them might turn out a virus in diguise, some of my friends have that experience. have a nice day.

I check my emails every day. In fact, I do check it at least 3-4 times a day to know if there are important messages that I need to respond to. As you can see, i have a business and most of my contacts do communicate with me on my email. Though there are those that do iton the mobile phone but I usually direct them to my email since I can easily describe the concept of my business from there as well as send linkws directly on the email. My email also is a professional email from my website hosting which give it a sense of authenticity and professionalism.

you have a good habit for checking your email every day.I also frequently connect with others by email in work and life.As i receive lots of emails every day,i install a software which can remind whether having email or not.I think it is very convenient for me to not check my email by myself.I hope to help you.

I also still check my emails. I would think that a lot of people has forgotten emails already these days because of other communication methods like texting, other social websites, whatapps etc. But I always check my emails for talking to my husband when he is at work and other order notifications emails; I think it is vey convenient and useful.

Hello Mermaidivy, Emails are still a necessity to me because social networking is meant for people who likes to keep in touch. but emails now i guess can be use for businesses or work related. besides, as long as there is internet, emails will never go out of phase unless they invent something that combines email and social networking so convenient that the era of email sites would end. have a nice day.

Hello LetranKnight25, i checked my email that i use for my business purposes everyday and emails that i create for my interest when necessary. I got to have more than 2 emails account. Yes, from the aspect of business it is very useful.

Hello acrossnation, Almost every one who has a business always check their mails, it seemed to be the best way to see if the clients want some thing or has respond to your email. I remember when I was promoting something, i would sent them some email or fax about the promo so tha tthey will become aware of it. Have a nice day.

Hello Jvincent, you just have only one email? better be careful some hacker claimed they can expose more than a hundred email addresses and it's passwords. one of them could be yours you know so never be too sure. well, better seperate business and personal, other wise some one could be a scammer or a hacker. have a nice day

I have AOl, Gmail, Yahoo and hotmail plus my work email. I used the gmail for school because uploading files, sending and receiving is very good. I can also save files on gmail docs and use whenever i need. My other email besides my work email are randomly checked and when i do, it's only to clean the boxes.

Hello Rasniki09, I rememberthat site AOI but i don't recall registering to that site, well when working you really have to use email. If you clean those boxes that are obviously filled with spams, it takes a while and really hard to maintain if you have work. better avoid joining sites that gives you spam updates with your permission, have a nice day.

I feel so comfortable using gmail though I have an yahoo too. But I cant understand why the mylot messages are being stored in my gmail spam box. Any email expert here to fix the problem?

Emails are still useful. I keep the tab open because I need to be contacted by important work and club events. I was born in the technology boon and was exposed early on so my life is heavily dependent on them. I agree that Facebook and other social networks have made communication easier but no one can disagree that emails are more professional than a facebook message.

Letran, i do check my emails whenever i have the free time to go online. But only, i don't have the time to delete those unwanted emails. I need more time to go online, then only i have the time to delete them. Nowadays, i try to delete my unwanted emails a little by a little, whenever i am online. Because my emails had been building up in numbers, day by day. Making me take more time to open my email box...

Hello Myfb2009, my problem is how to completely take them off my email, that's when i realized that I should be careful with joining or registering sites because it could send you a lot of unwanted spam of updates. yeah it's hard to have online time to be checking emails most specially if it's unwanted spams. Yes, I still check my emails from yahoo and gmail almost everyday. Most of my friends and relatives are living out of the country and were both preferred to send email to each since all of us busy working and taking care of our family.

Hello Bhebelen14, You can also use skype if you wanna call and talk to them but i forgot that it requires some amount of money to load it. as for the emails yes we used to do that when ever we want to have a talk with DAD because we can't seem to have other means of conversation except that he used to call before. I check my yahoo addy everyday. It has become like a routine daily check. I only registered for gmail when I configured my Smart Android phone, and I use it as back-up email. Facebook is where all my friends are so I also browse it regularly. I'm not into Twitter, though. Does anyone here do regular Twits?

LK, i have mail accounts with 3 providers yahoo, gmail and rediff, always i check my mails frequently, as i am doing my business and provide my id to my clients, so i am in need to check it frequently to know about the status, good to know that you are active with yahoo

haha~you are right.i have many kinds of emails.the gmail,the qq,the sina,the139 and 136 and so on.but now i only use the sina and qq email.the most problem for me is there are numerous of codes to be remembered.``i cant use other emails for mostly forgetting my passwords

Hello Candy033, what is sina, theeeeee139, and 136? ar these nick names of your email or another email site? well, you can always put them in notepad and put the list of your email address and passwords in you primary email.
