Do you like showers or baths?

For me,sometimes,it is difficult to choose whether should I take a bath or a shower.Normally,I would choose showers in the morning and in the evening.I would choose a warm bath to relax myself. From what I see, both showers and baths have ups and down. I will start with the shower: -The good things are that you save more time, you can maintain your energy on the same level and you can move. -]The bad parts are that you can't really have a thorough wash, you may miss some spots, you may consume more water(especially if you're singing, like me) and you can't relax in there. The bath: -The good things are that you can really enjoy yourself, you can relax, you may consume a little less water amount, and you can concentrate on different body parts. -The bad bits are than it takes more time in order to fill the bath, and the relaxation can go to another state-I often fall asleep there, and wake up with water in my nose. How about you,MyLotters. What do you choose between them? Why?

I not like showers because its provides slow water and I not like to spend more time for bathing. I also choose warm or hot water and bucket and mug while bathing.

I like baths more but I do take a shower sometimes. Sometimes I will take a shower just long enough to wash and then I will take a bath that way I can relax for a while.

I had done that before,I find it quite OK.Sometimes I would do the opposite.I would take a bath, then rinse using the shower. It's better than filling two separate tubs. What's good for me is that I can take showers and baths in the same place.

I love having a bath in the winter, because you can just lie there in the warm water and read a book. If you tried to do that out of the bath then you would be too cold because of the fact that it is winter. However, I am really short of money at this moment in time, and that means that I am not able to have baths because I can't afford that much hot water. We have a very large bath, and it takes a lot to fill it to the brim, so it is a lot easier and cheaper just to have a quick shower. Also, the body wash that we buy for the shower is a lot cheaper than the one you have to buy for the bath, so that makes it a lot easier to be able to afford it as well.

Ah,there isn't something more comforting that having a nice warm bath, looking up the window and seeing how beautifully it snows, while the bath is all bubbly.God,I am looking forward to that. Quick showers are something that take a lot less time.It gives you that opportunity. But you can make it comfortable too.

For me it will always be baths. I never got used to showers and I never really feel clean like a bath. Like you I do love relax in bath even early in the morning. Sometimes I take two baths especailly if I am doing heavy yard work and cutting the grass. I like feel of stretching out and soaking and letting the stress go for the day. Thanks Unique16

Yes,sometimes when I take a shower,I am getting the sensation that I'm not cleaning myself thoroughly.Although I try to concentrate of certain body parts,I sometime get this sensation. A bath is welcome in a stressful day.You can literally feel how the stress goes away into the water.

I really like to do both, and it depends on the time I have...But taking a bath is really relaxing and I like just sitting in the tub for a long time...But of course if time does not allow time for a bath I do the obvious, take a shower....

I like too to stay in the hot tub, nothing else to do than enjoying a slow passing time. It's very relaxing but for me it has a danger and that is falling asleep from that relaxation. Most of the times,I don't have enough time on my hands to take a bath as long as I want,so I have to do showers.

Well,I didn't think of that.A shower cabinet can be a really asset, because it uses a lot less space.Although if I would try to change my bath tub with a shower cabinet,I would ruin the whole bathroom.I think I would install a jacuzzi.Ha-ha!:))

Well, I prefer a shower. Tub bath is really not there in my home, so we either have a shower, or a bucket bath- sounds not so modern, but it saves water. And preferable in Winters.

If water bill is not being higher enough I love to shower than bath. But due to higher water bill today. I prefer to conserve water and save money also...

I shower once it the morning and once at night. I do not take shower as I don't have a bath tub. However when I travel and stay in hotels I usually take bath and after finished taking bath I shower to rinse off the the soap remaining on my body. I believe when we take bath we emerge in the long bath tub and with soap over our body, we still need to rinse thoroughly by shower only. If not it won't be clean. Besides, shower we can take our time shooting at the spot that is not cleaned with clean new water. In the bath tub it still the same water. To fill up the long bath tub consume more water.

I prefer showers because taking baths seems like soaking in my own filth. While baths may be more relaxing than showers, I have grown accustomed to cleansing my body while standing up. Although showers probably use more water than baths, I like being clean without being in physical contact with my filth from my body.

Showers. Baths I always feel weird dirtier than taking a normal shower. The only downside to showers is that I always have to manually aim the hose at the certain body part I want washed/rinsed.

Yes,you have to manually do the job, aiming to the spot. And doing this, you may miss some spots. I too feel a little bit dirtier after a bath. And that means I have to drain the water, and make ill the bath again,to "rinse" myself. Now,I won't do that unless I have plenty of time on my hands.

Bath is more relaxing but shower is faster. I often shower more than baths because I don't have so much time to indulge myself in baths. But baths are nice too, I did them sometimes in weekend especially :D

I like showers more than bath, I think I would enjoy a spa more than just soaking in the water for washing. Showers to me is just to clean my body, bath to me will be a waste of time because I need to clean myself fast to get out to take care of my kids.

Both taking shower and bath are good but i prefer to take shower. One more, currently i can take shower only, in my house, i don't have a big basin for taking a bath.

I absolutely LOVE taking bubble baths. So relaxing and peaceful. Especially after a stressful day, there is nothing better than a nice warm bubble bath with candles lit and some soft music. Aah, so refreshing! I do take showers as well but I enjoy baths more most definitely...
