wood furniture cleaning tips.

i am very thankful that one of the local program in one morning show talks on how to make wood furniture easy to clean. the host said hair dryer can be useful in cleaning melted candle in the wood furniture. permanent marker can be easily clean in wood by using nail and cuticle remover instead of acetone. and the host last tip is on how to lighten the scratch in wood by simply using mayonnaise only. thank god for this wonderful tips!

Hi there, I have also heard or read somewhere that wood scratch could be alleviated by rubbing some type of nut on it (walnuts?). Another is when you have problems taking off permanent markers, you could write on top of the mark with a whiteboard marker (the ones that could be erased) then rub with cloth.
As for the blowdryer, I think it could work because it could melt the wax.
