I want to loose weight but I am too lazy to sweat it off!

Here's the situation: I am working online almost the whole day as I have two full-time jobs and one part-time job. I basically don't have time to move around or if I do, I just want to rest to relax my mind. Every time I take a break, I would go look for food and eat eat eat!! Please help me motivate myself to at least refrain from eating "YUMMY" food! Or do you have some advice? My tummy is bulging already and I feel soooooooo ugly already! :(

It has been shown that the best way to loose weight is alternate day fasting, not only that it reduces the incidence of cancer, heart disease and other ailments. Every other day you may drink, water, tea, coffee, pop, etc but no sugar and on alternate days eat what you like It may feel hard and unusual to begin with but you will soon get used to it and feel the benefit all the best urban

You mean this day I can eat whatever I want but the next day I can't eat any forms of sugar, including rice? I've read one time that smoking can make you fat, is it true?

It might be hard in the beginning, but if you really hate the weight gain, then you should be able to do this!every time you get up ,instead of eating,do some kind of activity.I do not know where you work,if you have the space or not, but you always can find a small space to do some squats, lunges, jumping jacks or run up and down the stairs for 5-10 minutes. It might be hard to start, but after a couple of weeks,if you keep it up,you will see and feel the difference. You also will have more energy! good luck!

Then start slow,or try Yoga! that one is good for you,and it is still something that would take food of your mind.I know how hard it is to give up "Yummy "foods, but a look in the mirror a few weeks later, might make up for it! And remember, the older you get the harder it is to loose weight!

ok, you are a thoughtful person, and a good worker with a good intellect! Here is what I would do were I in your shoes. Begin each day with a good breakfast of oatmeal porridge and fresh fruit. Have a nut bar (without sugar) for a between snack, and stop for lunch break. Do not drink soda or sugared drinks, but stick to tea or water. Enjoy a lettuce sandwich or green salad, and a serving of fresh fruit for lunch. have another snack at 3 pm, or between jobs and stop for dinner. Eat a bowl of soup, and have a serving of lean meat, green vegetables, and a large serving of fruit. Do not eat anything before bed. This will solve your problem and you will begin to feel beautiful in just a few days.

Oatmeal is a wonder food and takes only minutes to cook (include raisins in it) Which do you hate more- Oatmeal and taking a few minutes each day to prepare good healthy food, or having a fat stomach and feeling stuffed all the time? Its entirely up to you!

I'm sorry I've been away for a long time and wasn't able to log back in. Thing is, I really don't like the taste of it to the extent that it makes me want to puke (sorry). Recently, I have been drinking a coffee which a friend of mine suggested. She lost 7kls. in one month without exercise and now she lost 20kls in total. It's effective as it makes you sweat all the time, thirsty and feel full. I have been searching for reviews but I did not find anyone complaining about it. Most of them says they lost weight by drinking it. Have you heard about leisure18 slimming coffee?

I don't like eating oatmeal, do you have other alternatives for that? Lettuce is hard to find here in my city too. I can deal with the bowl of soup, meat, green vegetables and fruits though. I wish I have all the time in the world to prepare for my own food.

Motivation is really hard to find outside the box for true essence of motivation should really be your own initiative. Food intake is just fine as long as your body could consume such amount of calories with your daily routines of activities. But as what you have said, you are just sitting in front of your computer and doing online jobs. I heard many things about tablets and medical alternative called carbohydrate blocker that allows a person to continue his/her food intake while minimizing the bodies carbs absorption. You may try to resolve to that particular med. Hope it helped!

Hmm, to lose weight effectively, just try to replace your dinner with vegetables, since the ones we eat in dinner won't be used for activity like on mid day, just eat vegetables every dinner. Not only you will gain healthy nutrients and fiber, you'll also lose the weight in healthy way :D

I just started to follow your tips and just ate veggies for my dinner. Hopefully I can keep up with this kind of food intake which would mean goodbye to my favorite Palabok with spicy chicken at jollibee. *sobs

You can still eat your favourite for lunch (bread or rice is also still fine for lunch), after all you will need an energy to boost your stamina in your everyday activity, right? Just if you need to limit the intake, eat one or two bananas before lunch, that way will make you fuller to avoid any unnecessary unhealthy snacking in mid day (bananas won't make you fat it'll esily burnt as energy ;D) and lastly replace your dinner with just vegetables, at night you won't burn any energy in activity besides sleep so it's better to limit calories at dinner by eating just vegetables :D. I have lost weight 15 pounds in 3 months this way :D. I feel healthy as well because I get enough vegetables, don't forget to drink lots of water too to flush your kidney because some of vegetables can have oxalate acid that can form kidney stones. Make sure don't just eat one kind of vegetables, varieties are the key here :D

First thing's first, you are not ugly. As you are quite busy in terms of work I know how difficult it can be to stay motivated and you can begin to put on weight if you are not moving around. What I would say is take ten minutes away from your computer and go outside for a walk. I find walking boring but after having tried it I suddenly realised that I was starting to lose weight and so this is the exercise I recommend for you. When you notice that the process is working you tend to stick with it and so I go out for a twenty minute walk daily and this is keeping the fat off thankfully. In terms of motivating yourself I would advise you to start reading some good self help books. There's nothing wrong with these books I read them myself and I find that they give me the lift that I need at the right time. Whenever I am feeling low I tend to pick up one of my self-help books and it does the trick. I know it's difficult but I would try cutting the snacks out too. Good luck. Andrew

Your advise did not put any pressure on my side unlike the others. The problem I have with walking is the heat of the sun. You know here in the Philippines our sun is very hot! I'll probably have a 20min-walk in the late afternoons as I usually don't wake up early in the morning. Can you please name those self help books that you are talking about?

You won't even have like 30 minutes everyday? or even in the whole week? I think it is better at least to do some mild exercises like jogging or walking with the dog especially if you can't eat less.

I use my day off for resting. I need it also as my jobs are more on thinking. I forgot to mention in my post that I can't do excessive Cardio activity as I would have palpitations from it. I can do walking, but not for a long time, I will definitely pass out.

No pain no gain! But if you really don't have time to exercise, there are ways to lose weight and actually cut down your food intake. But that means you have to invest. Try herbal life milk shake. It's taken in substitute of a meal and you won't even feel hungry. And they have food supplement that comes in a pill that you could take to avoid stress! It really does work!

I have tried herbal life already and all other expensive products just to lose weight. I did loose some weight, but when I stop it comes back faster than I was gaining them. I appreciate your comment but I am asking for "the natural way" to lose weight. Glad many of mylotters were very generous to share their tricks.

Walking is a form exercise, so I still need to exercise (no offense meant). How about binders? They say it's not good to use binders for long hours. I mean the stomach binders.

oh, then you can drink more water./..when you are full because of pure water, you won't find food for eating more. You have to train yourself also, just take 3 meals a day only as what i do, out of meals, i never eat anything, just drink pure water only...

I also am in front of the pc 10 hours a day as my work is with using a computer and fighting the urge to grab a burger or a junkie is really hard! What I do is I have water within my reach, sometimes we are mistaken that we are hungry when in fact, we only need a drink. Also, stay with eating fruits. You can try the delmonte fruits sold in tetra pack ( i guess they are around 13php in grocery stores). Munch on fruits instead of chips. Minimize your rice intake as well. Instead of having 2 cups, just have one and then drink water after. Eat slowly and drink water in between spoonfuls of rice :) You can also try eating oats for dinner. And having egg in breakfast is sure way to keep you full as well! It is hard, i know. i have been there as well. But honestly, it's just mind over matter.

You are really a workholic, having 3 jobs a day.Obviously, you are under high pressure and you eat to release this pressure.I suggest you resign 1 full-time job otherwise i do not think you can get better. What's more, drinking more water can help you lose weight.

That would mean I'll lose half of what I am earning per month. That is a hard decision to make. I worked hard to get these jobs, I can't just let go any of them.

If you want to loose weight without any too much efforts, just eat right amount and kind of foods. Eat usual 3x a day but more on veggies and fruits. Drink pinapple juice or yogurts, and water. Well that's the basic. I am doing it right now and it is taking effect :) Actually chubby people are more "kawaii" than thin people. :) It also depends on how you handle yourself. :)

I agree about chubby being more attractive than being thin. I have no problem being chubby actually, I have a problem with my bulging tummy. I will try to take time to prepare food for myself, because usually I just eat what's being served. I love veggies and fruits and yogurt and pineapple juice, so I shouldnt have a problem with your advice. :)

working that much is pretty hard on your body. How do you get enough sleep? If you arent getting the right amount of sleep, exersice and food. You are going to have a really hard time losing any weight. Or most important, being healthy.

Talking about changing your mind set, how do you do that? I mean how do you motivate yourself? Some of my friends are motivated my weighing scales and I am planning to buy one. They say that keeping track of your weight everyday, specially losing some weight will get you going. How about you?

If you want to lose weight, then the simple fact is that you have to change your state of mind so that you would be strong enough to be able to get the weight off. I have lost eight stones (which is 115 pounds) in the past two years, and I have never felt better in my own mind and body. To do it, I cut down on the number of snacks that I was eating in between my meals, and I started doing some exercise. You don't have to start by doing absolutely loads, the only thing that you need to do is make sure that you're both eating a little less than you did before and that you're doing some more exercise as well. You should find that it is enough to mean that you're able to lose at least some of the weight that you're aiming to.

Oh. I feel for you. We have the same situation, wanted to lose weight but don't want to exercise. Lol. I also work most of the day, starting from 8am till 11pm straight. Well, it's not really straight, I have 1 to 2 hours vacant sometimes. I always sit infront of my computer and don't really have the chance to exercise. I went to a health club before but I stopped when my friend stopped too. I think what you should do is to restrict yourself from fatty foods. You don't want to be as big as a whale right? And loving yourself doesn't mean to feed yourself with any food that you are craving for but to feed yourself with food that your body needs. I also hope that you will find time in walking in the morning or in the late afternoon, with this it could help you lessen your weight. You can just maitain the weight that you have right now and lose the weight that you had before. :) Always think positive, don't lose hope. Just always love yourself and keep yourself fit and healthy. You can try banana diet and yoga in your house.

Hi I know you understand how it feels standing up after long hours in front of the computer, HUNGRY! I don't actually eat too much, I eat small amounts but I admit that most of what I intake are fatty foods. I'm not into rice either, maybe I am one of those unlucky people who has a very slow metabolism. By the way, what is banana diet? Eating just bananas? were you able to lose some weight doing it?

dear you have to do some stretching before sitting in front of your computer. or maybe watch what you eat, dont just grab and put it in your mouth, 30 mins of doing house chores a day is enough to maintain a good weight and to sweat it off, it would also help if you get enough sleep, it will be good for your brain and skin :) you dont want to be ugly? so start today. you can find basic exercise in you tube.. god luck
