Do you put a lot of hope upon earning online?

Nowadays with technology advanced, internet become a place for all people around the world to earn money, some are decent and some are scam, people earn more in the US that is a truth, in Asia and some other continents it depends, some people like me put a lot of hope in earning online, I admit it that since I found online, I seldom goes to work anymore, I stay at home in the hope for getting extra cash every week and month, somehow when I site closed, we can't do nothing but in search of other prospectable site, my question is do you put a lot of hope in earning online or you just have fun? I think I need money desperately to survive and online is my only hope when in reality I can't work under people that I experience uncomfortable and pressured working when employer looking upon your shoulder all the time. What your say?

I do not put lot of hope on online earning because i have not yet found a good website where I can earn like alot . it seems almost impossible. So the day i find it and I will try to put some hope there..lol but it is true that you never know when the site will close and then we are left without anything. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

In my own experience, I am able to earn regularly with my English lessons online with my Korean friends and they usually pay me in advance. One way I think that we could earn online is by using our God given talents. For example, another talent I have is teaching chess online and I used to have a lot of students here but now only a few, but I used to earn an extra $250 a month from this but inconsistently as students come and go for many different reasons. Anyway, I have less chess lessons online now because I find that I feel less stress teaching English online, but come to think of it I should get this back for greater income and for additional investments that attracts me. Some people have writing skills and there are a lot of sites which pays good for this like oDesk. Other types of talents can be used in sites like Fiverr.com as another example, and I find it amusing to learn that many use Fiverr.com as their full-time income and what you can offer there is so varied.

Well thanks a ton for the lovely discussion.
Yes most of the time i work online for fun and not as a motto of taking it as a full time job as there is always an uncertainty of the site u are working for being closed unannounced. This will put us in severe danger if we are depending solely on it. So it would be better if online jobs are taken as part time jobs and some other office works are also done side by side as that our income remains steady and we are not perturbed at any point of time.
What say?

If there is no other alternatives, I shall go as you suggest, anyway now my father is supporting me daily allowance, I can still go for searching new sites to earn.

Thank you wongchoiyee for this discussion. I am on the same shoes like you. I put a lot of hope in earning online and I am thinking of giving up my job right now since I am not happy any more with the company specially the managers. So I'm looking for any income opportunity online. But as I've read the post of subhojit10, and he's right, that we must not put all our time here in the net, specially because there tons of scam sites. And online money making should just be a part time job. And that's what I'm gonna do now. I will find a new job tomorrow before I file a resignation in my present job then online money making will just be a part time job. Thanks again subhojit10 for that wonderful post.

Honestly, I have to say that the money that I've been able to make online is money that I use for fun things for our family. We live on a very tight budget when it comes to my husband's earnings and that does mean that there are a lot of time that we are not able to afford to do fun things with our children. The money that I make online is the perfect amount so that we are able to have one special family outing every month. Then I save the excess so that I can purchase Christmas gifts that I cannot buy from Amazon.

I can imagine what you earn online is like what people earn here in the Philippines in their day to day job on a monthly basis...lol. Anyway, for me it's really challenging to try to find a way to make online marketing a way to gain financial freedom which a lot of people have already done. We all know that there are myriads of opportunities online, and it is exciting and a challenge at least for me to make it big somehow online or at least earn a decent monthly income from it...Let's say about $1000 a month or more.

Have the same experience that I do. I found some hope in earning online and was happy to be free from crazy people at the workplace. You see it was difficult dealing with them. When you are not doing well in work, they attack you and make fun of you, when you start doing well and excel, they will attack again as they are quite jealous.
You can learn lots of skills online which you can use to put up a small business offline. Online jobs earnings are slow and small, but I guess the internet will be a powerful tool in the future time to come and many businesses will be conducted online so I guess there is a great hope.

I don't need to put a lot of hope into online business I have been doing online business for many years and very successful at it. Can be stressful at times but money is good when you know what business to get into and what not to get into and to keep up to date all the time. Takes time and a lot of learning to make good money online. 80% are indeed scam its finding the 20% that's not. When you start to find the real honest business that are paying then things get a little easy still need to keep up to speed and up to date with them but end results if you review and research business alto before putting money down on table then you will succeed in online money making.

I only work online to make a little extra money when I have the time. I do have to work a full time job outside of the home to pay bills thought. I am like you and wish I could find something to sustain me by working online, but it is very hard to find. I know it is hard working under someone else, but I am just not sure that working online at sites like this will pay bills. You could always search for a legit business to be employed online

I really don't know if it will really work for me either. There are really times when I'm thinking of quitting my real job and stay at home and work online. But I am having this doubts and worries too because sometimes no tasks are available for me to work on. And sometimes I don't have the motivation to write anything here in myLot. So my hopes of working online and stay home would somehow subside and realize again that it is not wise to quit working.

Not really. I have no intention to rely on online earning for my future income.
But I put a lot of hope on this to pay my daily needs. I should not ask any allowance from my parents anymore.

i am also to be stay at hom ein the searching of the site to make more and more money , this leads me to search this mylot site but in this site earning is sue but very slow, hence can you suggest me to tell ay other site to earn extra good income, i am be very thank full to you for telling this,because i want to earn fast and more on the online...
