I am happy to say that I finally received word about my new job! I will begin teaching at a school in Saudi Arabia in January! There's a lot to do and get excited for, but one thing I will miss is having that freedom that I enjoy here in the U.S.A. I have lived under lots of rules and sharia law before, so I know I can do it, but I want to live it up (responsibly) before then. I am not a big drinker...usually just a glass of wine or beer here or there. However, my friend offered to have one evening at a bar and order fancy drinks :) I don't want to seem like a newbie, so I want soem suggestions. I have only really tried rum and Coke before. I like sweet stuff! What do you suggest?

I think you have to drink, drink and drink while you are still in the U.S...so that by the time that you are in Saudi Arabia, you will no longer crave of having a drinking session...

Bahama Mama, 90proof Lemonade, Watermelon Maragrita, Long Island Ice Tea are the oldies but goodies. Most bars have heard of these and are pros at fixing them. Good luck.
