To start with: I find it kind of cheap to say you are a simple guy. Being simple has nothing to do with expressing feelings or not. Sounds to me you just use that as an excuse. If you know your gf well you also know what she likes and not. It's not very difficult to say some sweet words, to give her a special look, to make a compliment (written down is fine too), to text some words or to smile at her. I am not even talking about giving her flowers, presents, taking her out, etc. You can not be that simple if you are here on the internet explaining what you need to hear from us. Simple people don't do such a thing since a simple man is not educated or able to come to the internet like my husband. Still he knows how to show his feelings.
