i'll keep remembering my childhood lately. i hate eating vegetable that time. sure.! every kids hate them! maybe in our mind vegetable is green and the are leaves. haha but, today! i love eating them.. few info some of them that i like Onions rich source of chromium, the trace mineral that helps tissue cells respond appropriately to insulin levels in the blood. It thus helps facilitate insulin action and control sugar levels in diabetes. i dont have diabetes, but why not try to avoid it that to cure. hehe Tomatoes contains very good levels of vitamin A, and flavonoid anti-oxidants such as a and ß-carotenes, xanthins and lutein. Altogether, these pigment compounds are found to have antioxidant properties and take part in vision, maintain healthy mucus membranes and skin, and bone health. Consumption of natural vegetables and fruits rich in flavonoids is known to help protect from lung and oral cavity cancers. i really love them. raw and cooked too. just good for the skin too carrot They are exceptionally rich source of carotenes and vitamin-A. 100 g fresh carrot contains 8285 µg of beta-carotene and 16706 IU of vitamin A. Studies have found that flavonoid compounds in carrots help protect from skin, lung and oral cavity cancers. even they are not green! but it is a vegetable. good for eyes too how u educate your child about it

Yup i agree vd you......1 tip i want to give via u is mention below...... Tips :- you all know that Milk is very good for Health. Bt drinking only Milk cant give much energy untill you don't get vitamin "D". So after drinking Milk allow ur Kids to Play outdoor games 4 sm time so that calcium can occur in their body. This vl make ur Kids Healthy and Clever. This is my point of view. Just do this for month atleast and see hav u got any changes in your Kids.....

My kids would eat raw veggie sticks if I cut them up small and slim. They would dip them in ranch dressing. I know that ranch dressing wasn't the healthiest but it was the only way they would eat raw veggie sticks. If they didn't eat their veggie sticks, they didn't get dessert or hot chocolate or a special small treat. They would eat their veggie sticks. Also, they ate green beans, fresh from my parents garden. They helped their Grandparents pick the beans and then they started eating them. We couldn't get them to stop eating the green beans. My parents and I just laughed because I could never get them to eat green beans before. If you are able to have a garden, let your children grow vegetables, they are more likely to eat the vegetables from their own garden. And freshly picked vegetables are the healthiest.

I would love to have my own vegetable garden.I have a small place for gardening but I think it will do for lemongrass,Malunggay and other veggies that can grow in a small spaced-garden.

When I was a child I was always told that if I didn't eat my greens I wouldn't get any pudding, fortunately I did like my greens and always have done, a lot of people won't eat sprouts, but they are one of my favourite vegetables. Vegetables don't have to be boring, and you can easily jazz them up in different kid-friendly recipes. I think as adults if we force children to eat vegetables they seem them in a negative light.

You know another reason why you wanna eat vegetables? It will keep you from getting fat. A lot of people is saying that it doesn't taste good, but once you get used to its taste, oh Lordy I am telling you, you can't last a day without it on your plate. And yeah it keeps us healthy, beautiful, and younger looking. It also enhances our mood. It makes us feel better.

I tell them there are starving children who would love those vegetables or that if they don't eat them, some important body part will fall off. I've tried to whole "Its good for you" bit , but that didn't pay off so well.
