What type of person are you?

Some people would rather spend their time with animals than people. Are you more of an animal person than a people person? My husband would prefer to spend time with animals than people. Animals can be gentle, caring, and not judgmental, and we don't have to try and be different around them.

Actually I enjoy spending most of my time with children. They are very non judgemental and they can be so sweet and loving. They just accept people for who they are. =)

I agree with you very much, I like children more than adults. I feel relaxed when I stay with children. I like children .They are so lovely and simple. All of them are angels, white and clean . They recall me my childhood ,it's so nice .

@lovingmybabies I agree with it is great for us to spend time with our child/ren. We can learn so many things from you. It is a wonderful example that we get from them in how they just treat people kindly no matter who they may be. This weekend has been nice because my husband and I have been able to spend time with our daughter and just relax.

@cao it is so much easier to like children than adults. Children are wonderful little people. It so neat to see them respond to so many different things. We learn so much from them. Adults tend to complicate things a lot as well as over think certain things about people.

Well I just bought a pet 2 hours ago because I was feeling really sad at work. I've been spending my days with a plant for around 3 weeks now. So far, I get most of my socialization time from mylot. Alone time is good too with pets, it can be quite relaxing and you can do your own thing and they won't judge you, you can be extra productive too. But then of course, it would be good to talk to other people as well. It's nice to get connections to the outside world, it's a good way to learn new stuff too

I agree that it can be relaxing to spend time with pets. They are often very comforting to have around. I'm glad to hear that you bought a pet. What type of pet did you buy? We have a cat, and two lizards.

You have a cat? omg!!!! I LOVE CATS!! Is that him/her on your picture? if I had a larger house and better income, I'd fill my house with cats. Like under the table cat, on the sofa cat, everywhere you look cat! CAT! CAT!! I have 2 turtles. They're cute too and they're quiet animals I can take care at work.

I'm not antisocial but i rather spend my time alone. I don't like dogs or cats either since it triggers my asthma. I used to be a dog lover but when i grow older i hate having pets with fur in the house.

Yeah it's hard to be around animals when we have certain health issues that cause us problems when we around them. Thankfully I don't have any allergies to animals or I definitely would not have animals. My family would love to have a dog but I often feel that we do have enough cat hair to take care of. I couldn't imagine having a dog as well. It would just be too much.

Animals really are good company. It is such a wonderful feeling when we see how much our pets care for us. Our cat will often come up to us and purr and he wants to lay down with us when we are reading stories. It is such a cute sight.

My husband also love roosters. But personally, I am not much of this type of person. although I want to have a pet but considering my schedule, I don't think I can do it. I prefer to be alone and do my own stuff. Have a nice day!

Yeah taking care of pets is a lot of responsibility. I often feel overloaded with our regular schedule let alone trying to take care of our pets. My family would enjoy having a dog but it is just too much work. It is nice to be able to do our own thing when the time presents itself.

I am not into animals but I don't say that I hate them, it's just that I don't have any pet around, I like to spend most of my time with my friends and family. If given a chance to have a pet I would love it if it's a dog. I will surely can take care of a dog. My best friend use to have a dog and it's so cute and adorable, I like to have one of it if I have the chance.

I'm glad to hear that you like to spend your time with your family and friends. It is nice to be around those that we care about and are close too. I'm happy to hear that you enjoy doing those things. Some people are so attached to their cell phones, etc that they don't spend much time with their family. I hope that you will be able to get a dog when you are ready.

How many dogs do you have? I'm glad that you enjoy being with your dog. We have a cat. I'm sure that in the future my husband and daughter will want to have a dog but I hope not anytime soon because i know that taking care of a dog is a lot of work and it will just fall to me like everything else .

I would rather spend time with people. I want to be around someone who thinks and has their opinion and not someone who I can control. People challenge you, animals don't unless it is a dog trying to pull on a leash.

I'm glad to hear that you enjoy being around people. It is nice to be able to talk with others and hear how they think and feel about different things. People definitely can be challenging. Whether in a good or negative way. But it would be boring not having others to talk with who can add to the conversation.

I'm glad to hear that you like being with your kids. It is great to see our child/ren living life and enjoying the simple things. It makes us happy to see them happy and to see new and different things for the first time. Yeah we don't have a dog because it would just be too much work for me. We have a cat and two lizards and that is enough. I have a hard enough time keeping up with the cat's fur let alone having a dog.

Well, I am okay with both. I love animals, especially my pets, and I love people too. We cannot survive without others. No man is an island. Animals need us to sustain them and we need people to be able to help maintain our pets. We can't do all the work by ourselves. We need vets, people who sell pet food, trainers, etc. It should be a give-and-take community that enables people and animals to live in harmony. People have the responsibility to take care of these helpless animals. They need us.

I don't think I"m much of a people person. I don't like being around adults much but I do love being around children a lot that is probably another reason why I'm a stay at home mom because I enjoy the company of children then adults for the most part. I am an animal person depending on the animal.

Yeah children can be a lot easier to be around than adults. I'm glad to hear that you are a stay at home mom and that you enjoy it. It is a good thing when a wife and mother is able to stay home and she enjoys it. And when a husband is able to work and support the family.

Yeah there are many people who don't connect well with animals. And it is nice to be able to be on our own for a certain amount of time. Sometimes when we are around others we feel like we have to be a certain way or entertain them. When we are alone though we can do what we want.

Sometimes, it is really comforting to just not be around any people. To be free from prejudice and all that...yes, you're right animals don't have that same kind of judgmental behavior. But it's worse not to associate with others (human). Not facing reality isn't going to cure any pain, but make it worse.

Yeah I know what you mean. Especially when the people we are around can make us feel overwhelmed. We do though need to find a balance and be around people as well. We can choose to be around those who are uplifting towards us and who want the best for us.
29 Jan 13
I am a people person. I say this partly because I am highly allergic to animals and partly because I am very much afraid of them. I find people much more ineteresting to be around. I like learning from others and I enjoy hearing their stories of experience. I dont consider the company I keep to be judgemental, nor do negate their gentle and caring ways. For me, the perfect way to spend my time is with other people.

Yeah it would be hard to be close to animals if we are allergic to them. People are interesting to be around. It is nice to be able to talk with other people and share our thoughts. It's also a great thing that they can respond back to us and give suggestions.

I'm glad that you love cats, dogs, and children. I'm sure that you were glad that you met your husband. How did the two of you meet anyway? It is such a great thing that you both were happy together and were able to share life together.

I prefer spending time with people than animals, animals returns the favor to its taker when it complements them and do things from their instinct unlike people- enables to think and complement things from their choice not because of the instinct but logical and emotional reasons

Yeah it is nice to be with people who we can really communicate with. With someone that can share their emotions with us and vice versa. I too like having someone who I can talk with it. It makes my life so much better than feeling like we are alone.
