when i got hospitalized my daughter slept over at my brother in law's house, she love it there because her female cousins are of her age and they get along quite well. That cousin's grandfather (from her maternal side, we are at the paternal side) died a year ago, February 2012. Anyways, last Tuesday night my daughter came home and we were watching tv when she approached me and told me she saw something. She was quite serious so i told her she can tell me what she saw as she really was serious and she is not like this, usually she would just joke around. So she told me that Last Tuesday dawn at 2am she woke up, she told me she actually fell asleep playing with her cellphone and at 2 am woke up and decided to put the phone on the table near the window which she did. That window actually have a curtain and she brushed the curtain to see what is outside and i asked her why did she do that, she just felt like she wants too! When she turned the curtain she saw the cousin's grandfather. She said he was smiling at her and he was in white tshirt. I asked her what did she feel and she told me she was not afraid at all, in fact she lied down again and slept. I told her that was even brave of her! She was just wondering why she saw the grandfather... i actually don't know what to say but instead i just told her he might just be watching the house.. I am just so glad she wasn't afraid and was not disturbed about it, and i even told her to pray.

Your daughter must have been close to her cousin's grandfather too, that's why she didn't get afraid, jazel. Unlike my daughter who is fond of watching horror movies, yet would be afraid that she said she sleeps with the light on , in her dorm.

At least she's not afraid. My daughter had the same experience early this month. I went home in Baguio last week of January and left my 3 children here in Manila. After 3 weeks my daughter and my youngest son followed me to spend a week vacation. On the first night at around 3am my daughter says she heard something and woke up to check. She sat down and saw a little boy wearing a white polo standing at the door near the dresser. She winked her eyes and look again at the same direction where she saw the boy and she saw it walk out the door. She then lay down back to sleep. She narrate the story in the morning and well...no one wonder or no one gives a violent reaction. Indeed my sister and her two sons says...uhmnn...we saw him too sometimes just passing by

My sister lost her first child 14 years ago. So my nephews consider the ghost their older brother.

That maybe the reason for the deceased grandfather showing up. He must be thankful as well for coming over and had fun with her cousins. At least we know that his soul is not a disturbed one, otherwise, it would result to something bad, right?

Well, believe or not believe in such paranormal phenomena? Well it depends! I do not consider myself a very skeptical person, so my answer may come closer to believing and thus to give importance to such apparitions. While I have never been a witness at the forefront of a phenomenon of this kind, but I have documented a lot and it seems from what I have deduced that the paranormal is not just the result of a collective imagination. As for the episode of your daughter that she saw the deceased grandfather, is another element which you can believe or not.

Yes some may believe it and some may not, i am not sure myself either as i have not seen one but i am not dismissing the fact that there might be really ghosts out there.

Hi, Really it is very surprising that she didn't scare after watching cousin's grandfather who is not alive. Your daughter is very brave. Your daughter's relations with him were must be very nice. So she is not afraid of him. there may be her imagination. It is good that you told her to pray. May God bless her.

It sounds to me like your daughter is a sensitive or medium.
