Facebook has now become the biggest timepass for the whole world because the whole world is so busy posting useless stuff and totally worthless stuff over there. People are so busy there that they sometimes just don't know what they are typing on their wall. This makes me remember that song "facebook is a stupid idiot", and I believe it's true. I believe that it's better doing discussions here rather than on facebook because at least people can read your discussions and learn something valuable unlike Facebook. nowadays people are so busy on facebook that they just forget everything else, well I hope people stop doing timepass on Facebook and do something better with their valuable time.

Hi friend, you are right, lot of persons are using fb for their time pass. They are uploading various useless images and videos and wasting their time, as you mentioned it is better to post here than posting useless stuff in Facebook.

Hi well, I do realize that I had spent some of my spare time to read the status in facebook and sometimes I did that to kill my boring times whenever I feel to lazy to type any words

I agree some for some people it is like they have nothing better to do, Posting things that no one cares to hear like all the vulgar language and nasty pictures and not even thinking that there are people out there that know just what you are doing at that moment! I think of safety first! I watch a lot of criminal shows and true stories of how people do things on line like posting where they are going and when they will be home and not home and showing pictures of theirsels with hardly any clothes on? To me that is an open invitation for a phsyhco!! I wish people out there would think clearly before they post things such as this and maybe we would all could go about our day without worrying what creeps are out there!!! I do not like Facebook and never have I think they should clean it up and have more guide lines to what should and should not be there! I use it only once in a while for jobs I do but that is it. Just to like a page and I am outta there!

Oh, I experienced and noticed that, too. I mean, I would go on Facebook once or twice a day just to check out whether something has happened, but I'm not living my life there. I don't like the drama, I don't like talking to even my best friends only via Facebook, I don't like getting so much into some stupid games that I would waste my entire life. Some people should just leave Facebook, and look for things offline that they could like, go and meet their friends more often (and they should not take the phone out to check on Fb while they are supposed to have a nice day out with friends) and for example, educate themselves - go to the cinema, theatre, museums...

You really have a good point there and I am also with you. All of those people you are mentioning are not even aware how worthless their posts and actions are. All they do is just engage in those activities in order for time to pass by. As for their time, I think they have this thinking that they have all the time in the world.

I actually use it to keep in touch with family and friends overseas, since I moved to the USA. It's the only place I know I can get in touch with family, since they don't tend to respond to emails as much. I love it when they post pics of my neices and nephews and even of my parents. I've also joined several running FB pages and have become an avid runner (not a fast one) but it's helped me lose 22 pounds so far, and have learnt a lot about healthy eating and making friends along the way. At times it can be cumbersome but in my opinion I find it interesting and informative about a lot of stuff i'm interested in. I've also sold items through FB online yard sales too.

i was also really active in facebook once...but then later i started getting fed up of it and lost all interest..i think its better i spend my time here more than there cause atleast,as you told,we can increase our knowledge, make friends at the same time and above all,get paid for our views and opinions...facebook is really a waste of time..abd time is money..so i agree with you..use that time here and make money...

What can I say... I'm just happy that I've never been part of that pastime. I've never had a facebook account and have never been interested in it despite pressure from all those people I know around me to join in. Since I first found this site, however, I became addicted to it.

You are right.Facebook has become the most popular platform where you can pas your time. But the question is that whether the time you pass here generally is a quality one.And the fact is that it is generally just a waste of time unless you are here for a solid purpose.I have joined Facebook too,but only to promote my articles published in Bubblews and Expertscoloumn.Someone has told me that I can earn money through Facebook, but he did not tell me how I can do so.
