Crazy little thing called LOVE

Love makes us do crazy, corny and cheesy stuff. Agree? My husband and I have always been inseparable since day one. We started out as good friends before becoming a couple so we were so at ease into each other. When we finally became official, we exchanged letters everyday. I mean those sappy sweet old-fashioned written love letters. Even when we hang out each day, I go home with a sweet note from him and I greet him in the morning with my sweet written reply. Crazy much? :) What crazy yet sweet things have you done for love? Tell me about it. :)

hi well, i never have done something so romantics like that. but i already have boyfriend and we are part far away cause i'm still in my senior high school and he is in his college. we only talk in video cam, and only met each other once/twice in one month. he is not talkative person rather then he is something cool, and only answered 'yes' or 'no'. but he is not boring person or nerd. he always make his college his number one, and other things is number two. i did think ' does he really love me?' but when all of the people forget about my b'day, he is the only one who make me remember that day, and i really doubt my question, cause he take off in his college and bus passport to go to my place only to give me my b'day gift that he already bought from his part time job. that day, when he knocked my door, i really want to cried, i asked him. ' why you have to do this? what about your college?' and he answered ' cause there is something really important then my college.' i began to cray and ask him again ' but you said that your college is your number one priority and i thought i'm only the second, or maybe the last' and his answered amazed me. he said' you are not no.1 or two or the last. you are the main of number of my life. the first time i know you until now, you are the important one and that have to be you. cause you are my life, and i never give number of my life.' i dunno how to hide my ugly face when i cried, all of my tear, my red face.. oh really, i'm going crazy because of him. that my story of the one i love,, :D

Wow,that's so sweet. Some people can say that it's cheesy, but I think it's really romantic of your boyfriend to do that for you. Good luck on your relationship!

Well, I feel that when you are in your late 20's the very definition of love is totally different as opposed of what you feel in your teens. One becomes more practical and aware of the surroundings. Like the other day I went for a date with my guy, and he was so conscious of people around, But I guess it differs from person to person right??

Yes, it varies from person to person. I am 23 now, and I still get the goosebumps when my husband does sweet and romantic gestures for me, to surprise and make me happy. :)

totally, hand written letters are definitely more personal. I personally love hand-written letters too. It's like the person really use the effort. too many things nowadyas are being replaced by computers and it really adds a personal touch when things are hand written. I'm sad to heard that your husband is currently overseas for work. How long more before will he return?

I love hand written letters because they're more personal. It makes me feel that he puts her heart into his words. :)Now, though, we exchange sappy electronic mails. :) He's been away for more than one year now to work overseas. :(

He's due to come home next year, when we'll finally have our big wedding. I know you could tell I no longer could take my excitement to see him again, and maybe restart the letter exchange. :) Hand written love letters are so old-school, but for me it never and will never go out of style. :)

Thanks :) It's just sad that he's been away for over a year now. He had to work abroad for our kids, but I'm looking forward to seeing him again and exchanging letters next year when he gets back. :) I wish you could find a rromantic partner, too. All the best! :)

Ah yes, love. Who doesn't want that, right? When I get married, I want a life like yours where it seems like I'm married to my best friend. The stupidest thing my girlfriend and I did for love would be sneaking out during late nights. :)

Love makes the world go round, I believe so. :) We really are best friends. We tell each other everything and try not to keep secrets because I believe that honesty will make your bond stronger. We used to sneak out a lot, too. Now that we have kids, we don't have to do that because we get to spend so much time with each other. It's just sad that he's been away for over a year now to work abroad, but I'm so excited to reunite with him next year and finally tie the knot. Can't wait. :)

Yiii, so sweet of you! You're really crazy in love! What I can remember I did that I can say was crazy was cooking for my husband on his birthday. It's crazy since I am not really a cook. Actually, I don't really know how to cook! Haha! Unusual for a wife but I don't really have the talent and he's a better cook than me. So I really searched and tried my hardest to cook tomato-based pork stew. It worked! He was really laughing when I greeted him happy birthday with a stew instead of a cake and can't believe I actually cooked it. Though it was burned at the bottom, I managed to scoop all the good things. Hehe! Enjoy love! ;)

Hi joizee. We're pretty much the same. I don't really know how to cook as well, but I have been researching to learn how. :) My husband cooks really well so I guess I should learn. Congratulations on your new specialty! :)

i just say you are not crazy, you are smart.nowadays many people think that a note with several words can't tell anything.conversely,it is very important to help you tie the relationships more closely with your partner.you may be more touched by some words written in the note rather than spoken from the mouth.

True love can never make us crazy. It is infatuation which makes us crazy. true love always nourishes the relationship and strengthens the bond. True love is the rare flower which is beynd description But many of us often mistake infatutaion for true love.

It's not craziness, its the sweetest thing I know. Yes, when we are in love we can do things out of the norms- or things that looks crazy to other people. But, no, it's not craziness- it is lovers way to express and share their feeling towards the person they love.

I thought this discussion is all about the Thai movie wherein Mario Maurer is the leading man for the title of that movie is somehow similar to the title of your discussion here. Anyhow, its a good thing that you and your husband is like that.

I was addicted to freddie mercury and the Queen band this past few days then your title caught me attention that is a song title from Elvis Presley that revived by Freddie to be known and build reputation in america in late 70's. well, I always celebrate birthdays and we always date with my ex I've done everything I work hardly to provide our living for the years we lived together. and he is only good in talking but never act and only just in home watch tv. do the housework and sleep. that's it. it's really 'crazy ' thing I did because of love.

Good to hear about your crazy activities. My marriage is an arranged one and we love each other after our marriage. Even though we are living in the same house, most of the time we communicate with each other in the form of sms and emails and express our love through it. Those crazy things are quite common in most of the love and we can cherish all those moments in our life.
