I have a heart of a Mindanao State University student

I am now studying at a school foundation college in which I am an irregular 2nd year student. Before studying here, I was a student of a university here in Mindanao located here in the Philippines. That university is Mindanao State University which is one of the well-known universities in the Philippines. It is somewhat like University of the Philippines wherein students have power and freedom of speech. It has a high standard of teaching of which some professors are strict and sometimes called "terror". I remember when I was first year college here, I was cultured shock by the professors' approach and the university's environment. But then I had coped up easily. Since I transfer to another college school, I still have the heart of an MSU student. I am somewhat missing the dessert-like surrounding of that university and the professors. And even though I didn't finish my degree there, I still have this heart and proud to be part of the prestigious university.

I'm also happy to be a part of this university. I graduated last 2010.Even though I encountered terror and strict professors, I have no regrets in choosing this university. I learned to be strong and independent. People who graduated there are called survivors, since the place is quite "dangerous" and "difficult" to live with - brownouts every exams, limited water supply and many more. But despite those hard times, I will always have a heart for MSU.

I salute you in surviving in MSU-Marawi. Actually I love the place but people aren't that good because they usually misbehave. Though I am a Maranao I am quite scared for I haven't used to that place but I still miss Marawi and the MSU Main Campus :) Congrats :) You're a survivor :)
