Good old bake sales

You rarely see the good old bake sales. I know a few here would carry on and on how gross it is for this or that. Clearly they don't know the meaning behind it, and even scrab by for food (they wouldn't say that if they had to pick it out of a dumpster). I was going to work in the next town over has a giant garage sale each year. Many churches and places have the member bake and sell goodies. I grabbed a slice of banana bread, two coconut bunches, and a brownie. The best I've had in ages, I inhaled them I would of gone back for more if I could leave work but I can't.

well I am with you I love bake sales but I don't want to see the same old thing week after week or the same old tired faces as if this is the only way in the world to make money yes I like it when a kids group or like a church does this to raise money for a reason but I think there should be a little self respect and control to how many times you do this like in a month

I also think that it is good to do bake sales to save money and to earn money.

I think it is good to have good bakery food and good restaurant food. Here some of the restaurants and bakeries make good food. I like South Indian food very much. I have tried some variety food. I think most probably the banana bread must be tasting very good.

I can't even remember the last time I was at a bake sale it has been that long. It is a shame that the one you have found is only once a year.

I've not been to a bake sale in quite a long time, but I do enjoy them. You really get to sample the communities baking abilities, and it does go to a good cause. Churches around here do more bbq now then bake sales.

Most churches around here do it for their members not the community itself. This is once a year they do it. The banana bread was delicious.

I like bake sales! You figure not only do you get some treats fairly cheap (well, considering the price of baked goods right out of the store), the money usually goes to some cause - the school, church, or whatever. And usually it's homemade by someone (those are the things I usually get versus the store bought stuff). My daughter's school tries to have bake sales at most events - so I know that means I can get a cupcake or cookie for all of us on our way out.
