How do you make your crunches count - you will gain strong abs and minimize your back pains from doing crunches the wrong way.

I am not much of an exerciser. I had been warned about having back problems while doing crunches and that is one of the reasons why I have not tried it out.

At the moment I do neither because I have a shoulder injury so it is very wise to exercise the shoulder as much as I can take but not doing ab exercises. The only way I can exercise them is stretching for things but staying put at the same time and other simple movements better than nothing I would say.

I do crunches on the ground. Three series of ten repetitions. Before I did much more when I went to the gym, but for now I go running on weekends.

I put my feet to hold them steady under any thiung that will hold them. With my knees up and my feet stable, hooked under an object, I am able to do meaningful healthy crunches.
