Is anyone watching Downtown Abbey?Compared with American TV series,I prefer England's.After finishing Meilin,I want to know more about the culture of England.And I knew that Downtown Abbey was awarded The Best Drama Award by National Television Awards 2013.So I chose it.There are too many people in this series,so it's hard for me to recognize each of them.Is it a good series to help me improve my English and knowing the culture of England?

I have finished the season 3, waiting for season 4. It's great, nice pronunciation. U won't regret.

I hope so!But it seems that it is not as attractive as Merlin to me !

@SunnyQQ They are different style. I'm fond of Old Lady Grantham so much, the most interesting and indelible character in this drama. Maggie Smith has won two Emmys and a Golden Globe for the role. She is such a brilliant actress~~~

@ABAYAH Yes,she is indeed a intereting one.But I like Sybil much more.She doesn't care about marriage,make-up and so on,but politics,the equality,the rights of people.She is realy a brave one,at least in her time!
