Fall Back!

Daylight Saving Time, known in the UK as "British Summer Time" ends this coming weekend, on the 25th of October 2015, at 2am. That's a Sunday morning, by the way - chance for a lie-in!
Each of us gets one opportunity a year to re-live an hour of our lives - but they make us wait until 02:00 to do it! Why couldn't the hour go back when I was enjoying a particularly good moment in my life, and I'd get to go through it all again, in the style of Groundhog Day. No, they have to go change it at some ungodly hour when I am too far out of it to notice.
What about hole-in-the-wall cash machines, or auto-tellers? I wonder if I withdraw £20.00 at 01:30BST, can I go back to the same machine and withdraw another £10.00 an hour later at 01:30GMT and only get £10.00 deducted from my account?
Anyway, food for thought. Just don't forget to set your clocks back an hour on Saturday night/Sunday morning!

I don't like changing the clocks at all. I think the US does it Nov. 1 this year or so. If I am wrong, somebody correct me, please.

@sueznewz2 You're right! It's not so much about the money as about the debt these days.

if only it worked that way - people rioted when they lost years through the change to the modern calendar

I take it you won't be trying out the hole-in-the-wall theory...? . Enjoy the extra hour, I wouldn't mind if they gave us back a few extra minutes in lieu of interest for borrowing the hour back in March...! I suppose we got an extra second earlier this summer, the leap-second....

I have put a post on my facebook reminding people to put their clocks forward a year! Some people have gone mad at me. I think it funny that someone would be so daft to do anything I tell them!

We should be able to pick the hour we want to turn the clocks back as long as it falls within the 24 hr period LOL
