Why do People Like Mind Games?

I've noticed this around the virtual world. People doing things to try to drive others crazy. Messing with people's heads and telling them it's a man when it's a woman. Pretending to be friends with people. People minding other people's sex lives. What is that all about. Perhaps it has something to do with other people having interesting lives. I don't know but sometimes those mind games go too far. It can really be annoying at times.

I encountered more people like that in real life than on the virtual world. Maybe I am just paying much attention on what is going on online..

actually the people who play those mind games are very lazy person and don't have any kind of work to do and also they are attention seeker ....so they play such type of games with other people.....no work let's make someone life messier...this is their thinking

Why do people mess with other people's heads online? Mostly because they can! Doesn't make it right, of course, but they have tons of opportunities and some people really seem to make a sport out of trolling. They must lead very empty lives if that's the best thing they can think of to do with their time.

People that play mind games are bored with their own life. So they want to mess with your life.

I believe at times the internet allows people to be someone they aren't or they wanted to be at one time. It is sort of a fantasy world for them. So they get lost in this world and it turns them around so much they only know how to continue to play these games with people. That's how I see it not sure about others.
