My Grandma Passed Away.

My Grandma and I.

Even though it's almost that time of the year where Christmas is approaching. I have to say that even though it has always been the part of the year where I'm excited and can't wait for that special day! Christmas! This year, I'm dreading it. I lost my Grandma last month on November 18th. And I've been grieving this whole time. I was close to her, she was like another Mother to me. I'm not sure when this will get easier? Or if it ever even does? But I'm hoping at some point, I will feel less sad. I don't believe I will ever forget what I saw the day of her passing. Her lifeless body on her bed at the residence. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to witness. But she was strong. Strongest woman I knew. 89 years old, but her heart finally said. "I'm done." I believe she's always around me in spirit. But I miss her, and I always will.

I am sorry that she passed, and I will say that you will never NOT miss her, but will miss her in a different way as time goes by. It is really soon, do not expect to just "get over it".

I am sorry for your loss. My mother passed away November 29 at 89 years old. Eleven years ago my mother in law passed away on December 14. This always dampens the winter holidays.

I'm sorry to hear that and my condolences. My grandma also passed away last month just a day before my birthday and it was really hard for me and my family. I know it's hard but I'd like you to know that your grandma would probably want you to be happy this Christmas. She had lived a full life and she'll be happy dating your grandpa and watching over you in heaven.

Really very sad....feeling sorry about her demise....May her soul rest in peace..89 years is not a small age....She might have seen many..many....things....There is one more in our relations...she is 94 ...she is still surviving..she can not walk..but surprise is that she won't wear spectacles till now...Very strange .

I'm sorry to hear about your Grandmother's passing. I've felt the sadness of losing my grandmothers and my great grandmother who was like a mother to me. It's not easy but if you think about the happy times you spent with her. It should make it easier. Take care and I hope you feel better.

I'm sorry for your loss. Sadly, this year, I also lost my Grandmother. She was 86 years old. She passed away on her birthday 2nd April 2015. I feel that she is close by me whenever I think of her and she has also been in my dreams alot lately. I know exactly how you are feeling. It will get better, just remember that whenever you think of her, she is with you. I can feel my Grandmother's presence/energy and it's a lovely feeling. I miss her a great deal. It will get better, with time.

OH dear you poor girl. Everything is still so early yet and you are feeling very raw. With time you will feel more comfortable about it. You will never forget her but the pain will subside and be replaced with Happier memories of her. Do not be sad or dwell on the sadness of it all. She would not want you to be sad.
