Gun Control in US History

Been here at myLot since August 2015. My second discussion was about gun control, a hot topic in US politics and it's not going to go away. WE NEED A SOLUTION OR RESOLUTION! Part of solving any problem is doing the research to see if the problems have been addressed before and whether the solutions applied or implemented were effective. Found a list which details 10 instances in US history when some kind of gun control laws or restrictions were enforced or an attempt was made at enforcement. Even if you don't know what these instances were, based on an observation of the “current distress”, one can pretty much guess that ... THEY DIDN'T WORK! But it's a fascinating read.
