Yesterday , February 25 , was a special non-working day here in the Philippines , in commemoration of the EDSA revolution .
Since this week , my in-laws are in Sorsogon , another province , to also be with their son working there , my husband and I were just by ourselves in the house .
Because it was a holiday , we woke up already at 10:00 a.m.
After breakfast , I cooked our lunch , enough for me not to cook dinner anymore . He washed the dishes afterwards .
The rest of the day , we spent singing along with the videoke , watching TV and just simply resting , reclined in the sofas . We ate our favorite chips with guacamole dip while watching TV.
It was a holiday , so well spent and being just together the whole day , we super enjoyed it .
Good morning from the province of Albay , here in the Philippines .

Wow to that stunning view, is that the view from your home? Glad that you and your husband managed to spend some quality time alone at home, also relaxing and eating good food. The EDSA revolution victory is an important and significant event for Filipinos.

And that is so true.
Now, his son, is running for vice-president and most people are so against it, specially those Marcos has imprisoned during the Martial Law .

@SIMPLYD I didn't know about it prehand but I've looked it up and know that it was the people's upheaval against president Marcos who was violent, ruthless and fraudulent in the presidential elections during the 1980s. The people were successful in getting rid of Marcos and got Aquino to become president.

Yes, that is true. We should always spend those holidays with our family. If we have no budget , then just be at home, watch TV with them while eating the chips and drinks as if you are all in a movie theater.
What is important is it is being spent with the family.

Quality is always the best. I am happy to know you are able to spend the day well even when you are just home. The important thing is that you are able to spend it with the one you love. :)

I agree . One need not go out to enjoy the holiday. just having a quality time with our love one is enough to make it enjoyable at home.
