What do you think of online dating?

In this era of the majority of people in the world getting saturated of the life in the virtual world,we have come across people advocating for online dating to get true love.Some have success stories, and some others have reasons to say no to online love.
Personally, I like it when we meet in person... talk some stuff out for love to grow. I don't know if I can maintain an online love life with someone I can only see in virtual world.
What can you say about online romance, love and dating....

I have met several people from online for dating.
It did not turn out well for the situation at all.
But it is okay, it was learning experience.
I think the number one issue with this is the safety factor.
Be safe, meet in a public place.

I do know someone, an old classmate from grade school, who met his wife through online dating. They are still happily married for so many years now and have kids of their own.
I think the success of romantic relationships, be it online or not, depends on how the couple will handle it. They can make the relationship thrive by both working on it...making sure that the love, passion and intimacy never fades between them.

It is possible and I'm open to it. Sometimes, people we meet online are even more honest than people we meet in person.
