Life they say is wonderful and challenging for without trials it would make our like dull. But for those who are ill and knowing that your disorder is a lifetime basis. Is there even a life to live?

Each of us has purpose to fulfill regardless of physical or mental disposition. I can't imagine the anguish one must feel if they are birthed with an incurable condition. In birth, all are miracles. To touch, to move, to inspire another occurs in many forms, and although we may believe the way to inspiring others is of our own will, sometimes it's in a manner only the grand creator knows of.

Life is mysterious too. In addition to that, sometimes those obstacles are just ways of preparing us for a greater mission in life. We may not see God's plan for us as much as we want too but time will come we will be able to have a very clear picture of it. Never give up if life gives you blows that seem to be very harsh. Just fight over it and have faith that something is good to happen soon. Be positive.

@talktoryan great question. I existed with no idea what my purpose was for years. I dabbled in this, dabbled in that, searching for what I thought brought contentment and happiness, money. It took nearly two decades to understand what I am gifted at doing, writing. Each of us is gifted with a skill and talent far above anything else we can do. Mine is writing and engaging with people. I use to think my writing was as everyone else's but when others read it and were moved by mere words, I thought, wow, I can move someone with my words? So, what is my purpose today? That is to continue practicing the craft of writing. Continue creating motivational quotes on a site I manage where the world can read and become motivated. Last, to share whatever knowledge I gained from my experiences as a divorcee, dad, college professor, author, entrepreneur and employee to those who seek out information in an attempt to make his or her life better.

Life is not a bed of roses. It has its ups and downs. We cannot expect all our days to be full of sunshine because if it will be like that we will not comprehend the real meaning of life. Having disabilities or illness does not mean that we cannot enjoy life to its fullest. We can still enjoy it like other normal people. If you are familiar with the man without limbs, you will understand me. Do not let your present condition to put you down. Instead of harboring negative thoughts, look for a way that will direct you to the brighter side of life. Life is wonderful.

@talktoryan That is true but you must have faith and always try to be positive. You are not obliged to listen to anyone especially those who are trying to put you down. We have to face many battles but it does not matter how many battles there are, what matters is that we never quit on those battles in life.

Not all people think alike we all know that, to the extent that some even discriminate. You stived so hard to put all the pieces back and yet it just washed easily all the labor and hardwork are in vain. So tell me, How do you even motivate yourself to keep pushing through even others are dragging you down?

My wonderful husband recently lost a long battle with cancer. He pushed through his own suffering to help prepare me for life without him. We built memories to carry me through. Yeah he was scared, we both were but we were bonded by God and he gave us the strength and insight to make his last days full ones, rich with happiness and our deep love and Devotion to one another. I know I carry him in my heart, and that he took his part of me to Heaven with him. I'm learning to find my joy alone now, and it's sometimes quite painful, but the rewards in the end are always worth it.

I guess yes. Those kinds of people are much appreciated for doing the ordinary stuff that a normal human being can do. Though it would be difficult for them but that is what their challenge is.

I agree with you. They say that calm seas never make a skillful sailor. All these hardships that are goin on in our life are just ways to make us shine and be a strong person. Life is wonderful and we should cherish it
