Stuff gets put on the Internet - photos, musings, woes and joys, and more.
Even when the site hosting it has long gone, snapshots of it remain, fragments of a long-forgotten collective memory:
Four hundred characters on the Greek letter 'pi', p, but Pixabay likes 3 or more characters for a search... I was surprised that "pie&...

You would be surprised - apparently your old bubblews identifier has been captured 46 times on the Wayback Machine:

They live out there, on the Internet, in a dark, dusty corner, waiting to be rediscovered...

There must be a lot of stuff that I have put online myself and forgotten.
Many moons ago I created several sites on the free web hosting sites, most of which have closed. A few years ago I received an email from someone requesting advice about Office 2000, which was via an email address that I have not used for a long time.
I answered the query and asked how the sender had found me, which was apparently via a website I created about Office. I never found the site myself.

I try to be careful of what I share on the Internet. Once it is released, there is often no way to bring it back.

I noticed that too. Even if I am no longer writing in a site, there are still traces of it, like the old name @simplewoman that I used in Bubblews.

Once something's on the Internet, there is no going back... And so much of it is out of date now too, which makes you wonder! (Not articles like those written on old writing websites, but stuff like phone numbers and opening hours for shops or businesses!).
