I mentioned in some of my previous discussions that the desktop I am using is not functioning again that is why I resorted in using the net book of my son. This morning when I and my sister went to buy a new tyre of the car, my son brought out at the veranda the CPU of the computer where I lot. When we arrived home, my son asked me what the problem of the CPU was, and I said it stops when it was on for a few minutes. He then told me that I must clean the inside of the CPU.
I asked the brushes of my sister, and I also told my son to open it. Indeed, it was so full of dust, dirt, and cobwebs, and with these 3 brushes, I was able to clean it.
My son replaced the CPU back and now, it is working. I made this discussion with the desktop, and now, I will not have to read small letters, but the big fonts of Calibri at 16.
How often do you clean the inside of your computer (not the laptops, I mean)?

I don't have a desktop computer. I only clean my laptop about once a month, just the exterior parts though.

@just4him yes, but now, it gets some stopping at intervals, because Thor, our dog keeps on touching the wires of the computer that is why i sent him out of the table

well, i noticed that the desktop is slower then it stopped, that is why i thought there were damages again, until my son opened it and i found out to be full of dirt, dust, and cobwebs. i think you have to observe it first before you let somebody clean it for you.

i think because the fan in the cpu sucks dirt and dust. it's good that you know how to clean it once it's open. i might be too scared to poke and pull whatever.

CPU is that square metal box where all the wires and connections to the desktop are attached, my friend. according to Encarta, CPU is Central Processing Unit.

@JudyEv i think it is better to clean the CPU every 6 months or less, when you are in a country where summer is hotter, and the cold season is HOT as well.

yes. when our desktop did not work a few years ago, i called up the serviceman and what he did was he just cleaned the inside, and then it worked again. it was good my son thought of telling me to clean it. he said the computer might have static inside because of the dust and dirt.

@Lucky15 the buy one take one i was mentioning is the set of brushes, my dear.
a store here offers, in installment, a tablet with one free android phone as their sales for the anniversary. the items are not branded though, but made in ROC, so, another NOKLA?

well, if your room is air-conditioned, then the dust particles are not as thick as ours here.

I used to have this mini vaccum cleaner for my cpu before it completely gave in. I gave it to some one way back. that's the dilemna of using a desktop now a days.

indeed, especially if your room or house is near the streets. the desktop is facing the road, but it is far from it.

when your house is noon the roadside, then there will be no dust coming inside the CPU, so i think no need for you to let it be cleaned by you or any other professional cleaners

Good thing that you clean the CPU and it makes your desk top to operate again.
